CHAPTER 19
Archer woke up as the shining rays of the sun overtook his sleep. He groaned and turned around, letting his duvet cover up that awful sunshine in the morning. He did not get back from his grandmother til five in the morning after he left Rosalynn's. He needed his sleep to function clearly.
**Last night**
"Elder Anthea, are you still awake?" He knocked upon the small door of his grandmother's hut, that lied on the outskirt of a large forest. Hidden to any mortal's or any divine being's eyes. The place only a true alpha and his young ones can spot.
"Alpha? What are you doing here so late in the night?" Anthea opened the door clutching her broom, hoping it was not unwanted visitors again.
"It's about the three sisters. The book didn't have anything on what I was searching for."
"Come in and sit down, first." Anthea was afraid it might come to this. As much as she hoped her grandchild to find his mate, he did not want it to be one of the reincarnations of the three sisters, for they hold the absolute eradication of the basic laws of the clans. One that will lead to a revolution among many divine beings, especially between the Lycan clan and the Teufel Clan. {A/N: Clans:: Mystic Clan - witches/warlocks, Imp Clan - Vampires/goblins, Wyvern Clan – Dragons, Cecidit angelus Clan - Nepillims, Lycan Clan – Werewolves, Teufel Clan- Devils/fallen angels. }
Anthea climbed the little step ladder of her bookshelves and dropped a couple of fiction novels. Behind the novels was a secret compartment within the shelves. After opening the compartment, she took out a bunch of loose, olden papers.
"Here." Archer's grandmother handed the bunch to him.
"What are these?" He asked intriguingly.
"The missing pages from the book I gave you. Many would slaughter to get their hands on these so be careful, my child." Anthea said as she lovingly muddled the brown locks of her grandchild.
"Wow." Archer exclaimed as he looked in the pile of moth bitten pages.
"What is it you're looking for, Archer?" Anthea curiously questioned. She had the sudden urge to report the findings to Lucretia.
"About elements." He foolishly answered.
"Elements?" She gasped. Even Lucretia hasn't gone to that stage yet. Only Hecate had.
"Yeah, you know, involving with fire and whatnot."
"Archer, can you read these at home? I have a sudden headache." Anthea proceeded to massage her temples with her forefinger and thumb.
"Sure, grammie. Thank you." He kissed the top of his grandmother's head and stepped out to the chilly forest air of the night.
**Back to the present**
"Archer, get your lazy ass out of the bed. Don't you have a meeting to go to this morning?" Cassandra screeched angrily from the other side of the door. Her damn hormones are already perky this morning. He obviously felt bad for Trevor, her mate.
