CHAPTER 2
Rosalynn had no idea why these tears were pouring out of her eyes. But it felt as if her chest was clutching.
"I-I know y-you didn't mean anything by it, but I-I don't know why I'm crying." She buried her crying face in to her hands, embarrassed that she was stuttering and was actually crying in front of some handsome yet stranger. I never cried. The last time I cried was when my grandmother died.
"Hey, hey. It's okay now." Archer approached her and placed his warm, large hands behind her back embracing Rosalynn into his warm body. A tingly sensation ran through out her body. An overwhelming smell of caramel filled her senses. Rosalynn melted right in to his arms and she swore that she saw him sniff her. Her tears were now dried off after unintentionally wiping it on Archer's muscular torso.
"Monsieur, are you alright?" The manager rushed into the room and spotted our secretive embrace. Rosalynn pushed him away from her and hid her body with the blanket not because of her exposure but mostly because of her deep red blush. Archer directed a pouty smile at her.

Archer held her close. She smelled of lavender. But her smell confused him. I thought she was human. She pushed him onto the ground as the manager barged in through the entrance. My wolf growled. I had to agree with my wolf, he interrupted us. Just when I finally got to touch her. Archer, then resorted to a smile.
"Mademoiselle, are you alright?" The manager asked while she hid behind the sheet Archer laid over her to warm her from the air conditioned room while she was blacked out.
"Y-yes. I'm fine now. He helped me."
The manager directed his attention to Archer, "Sir? What are you doing here?"
"You know, just inspecting the area."
"Oh. I heard there were rouges lurching here and about."
"Yes apparently, my unreliable beta forgot to tell me about them passing this week so I can excuse them."
"Well, how can you expect him to care? He didn't want to be beta anyways. Plus he has his oncoming child to care about." Archer shot him a glare for his unwanted comment.
"S-sorry alpha. I didn't mean to come out of my way." The manager said as sweat formed along his hairline.
"It's okay. What is she doing here anyways?" Archer directed his gaze at his girl. That sounded right. His girl. She was staring at them curiously. I wondered what she was thinking.
"She was working here as a cleaner."
"WHAT?!" Archer used his alpha voice panic-kingly which made them both flinch.
"I-it's alright. I just wanted the money." She replied nervously, playing with her fingers.
"Money?" He asked out of his curiosity.
"Yep. I'm planning to move out soon. I'm almost done with high school anyways."
"Oh." I wanted to tell her that she can move in with me but I think I might take it overboard. After all, they barely knew each other. There was an awkward silence between them. Archer saw her glance at the clock across the room and her eyes widened.
