Rain

Having rain was common around the parts of Downtown City. Especially when winter approaches. Strange but, it's common!

It had been raining nonstop all morning and the rain kept on pouring.

Vinnie Terrio was sulking in his desk, watching the rain pour from the window. He was currently in his math class as his teacher was currently giving a lecture about the Pythagorean Theorem as he recalled.

The green haired boy sighed with agitation. And it certainly was not because of the rain...

Math to him was one of the most boring subjects ever. Heck. Even science was a tad better than this...

As the teacher droned on, Vinnie didn't notice a tiny slip of paper that had landed in his desk. His head perked up by the sound of someone whispering his name. He quickly turned around to see Pepper a few seats back, making some sort of gesture.

"Open it!" She mouthed, referring to the slip of paper.

Vinnie raised a brow in confusion but then turned around to inspect the slip of paper. He turned back around to see if this was what she was referring to. She gave him a thumbs up and quickly looked back at the front, incase the teacher decided to turn around.

Vinnie opened the slip of paper and mentally began to read the note:

Bored huh? Same here. Apparently Zoe said that you can just look up powerpoints online and they'll just teach you this stuff .-.

Or we can just borrow some of Russell's old notes am I right? XD

-Pepper

Vinnie chuckled at the note. Pepper did have a point. Russell had taken this class before after all...

He quickly began to scribble his response on the paper:

True... And what do you really mean by "borrow?" -w-

Vinnie tossed the note back in her direction, which she noticed and picked it up. Pepper glanced through the response and smirked.

"You know what I mean..." She whispered, chuckling.

Vinnie grinned back, knowing exactly how. His focus shifted back to the front for not even a second until suddenly, another note landed on his desk. He turned back to Pepper, but found her writing down some notes from the board. Vinnie was puzzled. If it wasn't Pepper, then who?

He unfolded the slip and looked over what was written:

¡Hola, mí amigo!

I know this isn't the right time to ask you this, but what in the world is the teacher talking about??? She's gone loca!!!

This is Esteban by the way...

Vinnie glanced up once more and turned to where his Columbian friend was sitting...which was right behind him...

"Uh...why did you say that this isn't the right time?" Vinnie asked.

"Well, because we're supposed to be paying attention, but she went off on a tangent of some sort! She began to tell some lame story..." Esteban explained, earning a nod from Vinnie.

"Well, you should speak for yourself, Marion." Vinnie grinned, calling him by his middle name. "You're always telling us about your great adventures! Not to mention that you always tell us about the same ones..."

"What? Well at least my stories are not as boring as hers!"

"How so?" Vinnie raised a brow.

"I mean, look at my stories. They're about me saving my village from any kind of treacherous human! They have action and suspense! Everybody likes that sort of stuff! Right?..."

"Good point..."

Suddenly, a figure stood before the desks of the two boys, casting a shadow. Esteban and Vinnie looked up to find the teacher, who didn't look so happy...

"Whoops...."
