Sneaking In

"Soooo....remind me again why sneaking in is a good idea?"

Minka asked as she, Zoe and Vinnie began walking over to the warehouse, all three looking around incase any security guards or parade participants were around.

"Darling, it's not technically sneaking around," Zoe used her hands to make air quotes, "we're simply just a couple of innocent bystanders who oh so happen to also have permission to be back here!" The girl grinned.

"So we're lying?" Vinnie raised a brow.

"No no! Let's not call it that!" Zoe rolled her eyes. "It's only for a little bit! Besides, we could totally blend in with everyone else!" She reassured as the three now stood by the entrance of the warehouse. "I mean, look at us. We are quite the attractive bunch...right?"

"Obviously." Vinnie scoffed as he sent her a wink.

"I guess..." Minka shrugged, "I mean, it would be fun to look at all the pretty feathers while looking pretty!"

"There we go! See? Wasn't that easy?" Zoe smiled as she looked between the two. However, the girl quickly paused as she held a hand out, hearing the sound of footsteps approaching.

"Quickly! Behind those boxes!" Zoe whispered as the trio quickly ran over to a large stack of boxes, crouching out of sight. After a moment, Zoe slowly stuck a part of her head out, getting a good view of the warehouse's entrance. A large, male security, who looked like he meant business, walked over to the entrance and stood right in front of it. He stood firmly, a large, stern facial expression stuck on his face, his brows furrowed in a serious manner.

"Yeesh...is this a security guard or a member of the swat team?" Vinnie shuddered as he and Minka also peaked out from behind the boxes. Minka giggled at his comment as Zoe rolled her eyes, unamused.

"Focus!" She whispered, "We need to think of a way to get in there without raising any suspicion..." The girl thought for a moment.

Vinnie and Minka looked at each other, raising a brow in question.

"I mean, there's only one guard, Zoe." Minka reminded.

"Yeah, but this is a parade. There's gotta be more of them hiding around this place!" Vinnie said.

"I got it!" Zoe clapped her hands together, standing up once more. She quickly ran a hand through her hair, fixing her clothes and began walking out of hiding.

"Zoe! What are you doing!?" Minka whispered.

"Just follow my lead!" Zoe smirked as she began walking over to the entrance. Seeing that nothing was going to stop her, Vinnie and Minka nervously gulped as they quickly followed behind her.

Meanwhile, Pepper, Sunil and Russell began walking around the almost empty rows of seats, having been placed around the streets of Downtown City.

"Who would have thought that so many people decided to show up so early in the morning?" Sunil wondered out loud as the three looked around. People slowly began piling up in the rows of seats.

"I mean, this is one of the biggest events of the year, according to the flyer." Russell shrugged as he pulled out a clipboard, writing a couple of things down.

"Man, where are all the food vendors?" Pepper rolled her eyes, "I'm starving!"

"Pepper, did you not have breakfast before coming out here?" Russell raised a brow.

"I kinda forgot." She sheepishly grinned "I was way too excited that I forgot..."

Sunil shook his head as Russell sighed, "Well, let's see if there's anything around here that isn't too sweet.."
