Chapter 6

*Luke's POV*

Everything was ready for tonight. I have been planning this date for Care and me for a really long time, to ask her to be my girlfriend.

According to the clock, she is going to arrive in a few minutes but she always take some more to put her make up on and make sure she looks perfect. I hope she realizes she ready is, without all that makeup.

The doorbell rang and i ran downstairs, when i opened the door i saw Caroline, dressed with a red tight dress with black high heels and with almost no makeup. She never looked more flawless in her entry life. Never.

"Do i look good?" She said, looking at her dress awkwardly.

I couldn't even find the words to describe how perfect she looked.

"You...you are gorgeous" i mummbeled, giving her a shy smile.

She smiled me back and we headed to my car.

Next stop, her favorite restaurant.

We sat down on a big circular red table next to a big window. There were many tables and people eating and having a good time around us, but that is not important, the important thing is that im here with Caroline.

After waiting for the waitress for some long minutes, she finally came and ordered our food.

"This place is beautiful Luke! Thank you for bringing me here" Caroline said, with a smile in her face.

"Its fine, i really wanted to share this time with you since we couldn't spend time together for some weeks" i said; she smiled and quicky avoided the eye contact with me.

There was an awkward minute were there was complete silence, so i had to break it.

"So about the texts the other day i..."

I couldn't finish the sentence because the waitress came with our food.

"Here you go, a plate of pasta with a large glass of coke for the lady and the same for the man, is there anything else you want?" The lady kindly asked.

Before i could open my mouth to answer Caroline replied to her "no its fine, thank you"

We started eating, and i tried to start the conversation again about the texts but i caught Caroline staring at someone or something behind me.

"What is it? Who or what is behind me?" I whispered

"Is Ashton...he is with someone...a girl...here" she said.

I was about to turn around when she said that they saw us and they were coming to our table.

"Hey guys i didn't know you were going to be here tonight!" Ashton said, putting one arm around the girl's waist.

I could see Caroline's envy and jealousy in her eyes.

"Hey Ashton" Care and i said in unison. I smiled over the fact that Ashton is dating someone because that means i can definitely Caroline for my own, but i was scared of how she would react since its obvious that she is still not over him yet.

"So...Ashton who is your friend" I said looking at the mysterious brunette next to him.

"She is Kayle" he said putting her closer to him.

"You can call me Kay, i hate being called by my whole name!" Kayle said with a friendly tone.

I glanced at Caroline, who seemed that was going to explode.

*Caroline's POV*

Who the hell is this girl. I know i shouldn't feel jealous about this but really? it hasn't even been 3 months since my and Ash's breakup and he is already dating other girl, PLUS he said that he loved me some weeks ago...He never talked about other girl since our breakup...What makes me even more angry is that this girl is gorgeous and the way he puts his arm around her makes me wanna kill her .I should control myself now, im here in a date with Luke. I shouldn't be thinking of this and Ashton.

Suddenly a waitress came up and told Ashton and Kayle that there wasn't a table free for them. I shot Luke a look, trying to make him realize that i didn't want Ashton and his brunette girl eating with us.

''Do you guys want to sit with us?'' Luke said with a shy tone. I could tell he didn't want them to sit with us, but he was trying to be polite.

Ashton glanced at me before i slid in my seat and Kayle made her way next to me. He sat down next to Luke, in front of me. I stared at Luke, who didn't look very satisfied with this, but yet we tried to be polite. The only one who seemed to be enjoying the situation was Ashton, seeing how i was slowly dying of jealousy must be fun.

After the waitress took down in a little paper Ash's and Kayle's orders she left, making the things awkward.

"So, Luke, Caroline, what are you doing here? In this lovely restaurant?" He made a pause and made eye contact with me. "I know its your favorite Caroline"

I looked down to the table and waited for Luke to answer since i dont want to talk to Ashton.

"I brought her here, this was a date Ashton" Luke said, looking at him angrily.

"Oh im sorry man, i didn't want to fuck your date up" Ashton said.

I glanced at him, he had a big smile on his face, he was probably happy that he ruined my and Luke's date. If he was enjoying this moment then i should enjoy it too.

"Hey Kayle, do you know Ashton is going to be a father?" I said, trying to get revenge.

"Oh yeah! I really don't care. I love Ashton more than anything and our love can get through that" she said touching her hair and smiling at me.

I sighed and glanced at Luke, who was smiling because of Kayle's pathetic answer. I smiled him.

I kept eating my plate of pasta trying to avoid the eye contact with my ex. The what has come a double date was going by really fast now. Luke could make them talk about the band and not my ex relationship with Ashton.

"Woop guys i gotta go, my mom needs me, Ashton would you drive me home please babe?" Kayle said in a bitchy tone, which made me want to punch her.

"Sure" Ashton said, standing up and grabbing her wait again. Before leaving he kissed her for what it seemed forever in front of us. And then he left.

Luke and I looked at eachother and laughed because Kayle was pathetic as fuck. But inside i was hurting because of Ashton, the kiss, how he grabs her, the way he looks at her...

We finished our dessert and we went out of the restaurant.

"Mm Caroline, before i take you home i really want to ask you something" Luke said, looking to his shoes.

"So...I've been in love with you for a really long time and we had many good memories together. This date didn't went by the way i thought it would but i organized it for one reason and it was..." He made a pause and inhaled and gazed at me.

"Would you be my girlfriend?"

My heart started bumping faster and faster. I love Luke a lot and also Ashton but he is with Kayle now and the baby....i dont give a fuck, i love Luke and i will be with him.

"YES" i said, i jumped to his arms and kissed him softly for a while.

When the kiss was over, i opened my eyes and saw Ashton km away, behind Luke, he saw everything.
