Chapter 8

*Caroline's POV*

I stared packing my clothes, which was just a t-shirt, thank god Ashton wasn't at home.

I planned on writing a letter telling him that im going back to my house and blah blah blah but insead of that i thought it would be a better and less cliché idea to just text him.

I had my suitcase on my hand and was ready to leave, i opened the door and i saw Ashton, he analized the me and knew what i was doing.

"Are you leaving?" He said, with sadness in his eyes.

"Yes, sorry i can't keep pretending that Luke doesn't exists and just cuddle with you like in the old times" i said. I tried to make my way out of the house but he stopped me with his body, touched my hair and said

"Are you sure that's what you want?"

I glanced at him with my mouth half opened. "Yes that's what i want. Sorry Ashton."

Eventhough i wasn't going to spend the rest of the week on Ash's house the guilt for cuddling with him was eating me alive. I haven't touched my phone for hours, probably Luke is worried about me. When i turned it on many texts and missed calls popped up. Many were from Luke.

"Hey babe, what are you doing? I miss you so much! Its so boring here, i wish you were here. Call me whenever you can. Love you xx"

"You haven't reply that last text i sent 5 hours ago...is everything okay? I tried to call you don't pick up...did i do something wrong? Please tell me babe. Love you"

I swollowed saliva and called Luke, keeping in mind not to say anything about the dare.

"Hello?" He said with his deep voice

"Hey babe"

"Oh hey Care! Whats up? I've been trying to call you..."

"Yes i know, sorry, i was busy, i had a....ummm....pijama party! Yeah a pijama party with Mary, Emma and Julie. Sorry i couldn't call you" Lying to him was one of the worst things i had to do in my life. I felt my stomach burn.

"Oh its fine...how are you?" He said slowly, sad.

"Im fine! Kindda tired tho, how about you? I miss you so much you have no idea" i said

"Im good, im good. I miss you too! Only 6 days left to see your beautiful face again!" He said, excited

"Yes!!" I almost screamed to the phone.

"Oh my brother wants me to help grandma with the dinner, talk to you later, love you!" He said

"Love you" i said, but he hung up before he could hear it.

*Luke's POV*

"I can't believe you are leaving already! We will miss you so much here" my grandma said while she hugged me as hard as she could.

"Oww i will miss you guys" i said to my grandparents, brother and my brother's girlfriend.

My brother came close to me and hugged me too, "hey good luck with Caroline, she is a good girl"

"Oh shut up" i said, im sure i was red as a tomatoe by then.

"Okay now time to go" he said, slowly slapping my back.

I said goodbye to everyone again and finally left to Australia where my beautiful girlfriend will be waiting for me.
