Chapter 9

*Ashton's POV*

I lie on my bed, where my fake girlfriend was already lying, watching Geordie Shore.

I grabbed the remote control and turned off the tv.

"Hey i was watching that!" Kayle protested.

"We have to talk, if we want them to believe us you better stop acting so annoying and kiss me more oftenly and scream more while we pretend to have sex" i told her.

She started chewing gum noisily and touching her hair.

"Fine, whatever Ashton. If you want to get this girl jealous then we have to do cute things not just pretend to have sex." She replied.

I was about to answer when my phone rang.

"Hello"

"Hey its Courtney, would you mind to come over?"

"Yeah sure its about the baby?"

She remained silent for some seconds.

"Yeah about the baby"

"I'll be there soon"

"Kayle you need to go now, i gotta go to Cortney's house its about the baby"

She sighed and got out of the bed.

"Okay when do i need to come back?" She asked, while she grabbed her purse.

"I will text you." I answered, making my way to the bathroom to brush my teeths.

After she left i went downstairs and i opened the door to leave, i turned back and i saw Luke and Caroline asleep on the couch. Apparently they have been watching movies all night long. I felt a void in my heart and my stomach twisting. I closed my eyes, tried on not to think of how hurt i was and made my way to Courtney's house.

"Hey Ashton, please come in" Courtney said, as she opened the door and introduced me to the house i used to come almost everyday to visit her.

"Please sit down" she said and we both sat down on a couch.

Its been 4 months since she is pregnant and she doesnt look like she has gainged any weight...weird.

"What happened?" I asked, touching her stomatch, where the baby is. She took away my hand and looked at the floor

"What is happening Courtney" i asked her one more time, the tone of my voice was getting louder. This is starting to worry me.

"I have a boyfriend now" she answered.

"Oh okay, its okay we can still take care of the baby, we can take turns."

I answered.

Even if she is with someone now, which is totally fine with me, i still want to take care of my baby.

She stood up and started walking in circles.

"Look i did something wrong..."

"What did you do Courtney" my body temperature began to climb because i was getting anxious.

"TELL ME" i shouted.

She threw herself to the floor and started crying. I was getting more and more anxious and nervous every second.

"PLEASE COURTNEY TELL ME. WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY BABY." I bent down to look her into the eyes.

"DONT YOU UNDERSTAND ASHTON?! THERE IS NO BABY. HE NEVER EXISTED. IT WAS A LIE" she said, making eye contact with me, her eyes were red and the tears were falling uncontrollably.
