Chapter 7

*Caroline's POV*
Its been 3 weeks since Luke and i are in a relationship. So far everything has been cuddles, smiles, kisses, etc. I've never been so happy since my breakup with Ashton. Talking about Ashton, he is with Kayle now, and he seems to love her now. How do i know? Everywhere Luke and i went, they are there, making out, hugging, whispering, laughing. It seems like a devil plan to make me sad or something...they even had sex in the room next to Luke's, when i was cuddling and watching a movie with Luke, and they screamed enough for us to hear. Disgusting. Yet, seeing Ashton with his new girlfriend didn't hurt me very much now. I only have eyes for Luke at the moment. I don't care what Ash does with her now. Im stronger.

Now, Luke has gone to California for a couple of weeks to visit his brother, leaving me alone with Mary, Emma and Julie. Who bought a house here and now they are living here!

Right now im at the boys house, sitting next to Mary on a couch, watching the tv and joking around.
We are waiting for Michael, Calum, Julie and Emma to arrive so we can go somewhere to have fun since we didn't hang out together for a long time. We are going to McDonalds and then we'd just walk around and talk.

The bell rang and Mary opened the door, kissed Michael and let the gang in.
I greeted Calum, Emma and Julie with a kiss on their cheeck, i couldnt say hi to Michael since he was way too busy making out with Mary.
"Okay guys so we are all together! Are you guys ready to go to Mcdonalds?" Calum said
"Yes!" We all screamed in unison.
Seconds before leaving Ashton came and we were forced to invite him. We all think he is awsome but we agreed in not inviting him before because we thought he would bring his annoying girlfriend who no one likes.
But he didn't bring her, thank god, so its all good.

We arrived to McDonalds, there weren't many people waiting for the food or inside the place, which made it more confortable. We took our foods, sat down and started eating. Ashton was in front of me and glanced at me every now and then. I tried to avoid eye contact with him for a while but then i couldn't resist to look at him back. I know, i know, i shouldn't be looking at him while the guy i love is out of the country but i couldn't resist it...

We were all having a good time, a normal conversation, until Emma had the AWSOME idea to play Truth or dare.
"Michael truth or dare?" Calum asked. He chose truth.
"Its true that before you met Mary, Care gave you a blownjob?" Ashton asked with an even smile in his face. He knew what was the answer to that.

My body tensed. We did do that tho, but we were drunk...and it was years ago...if he says the truth Mary will kill me.
The table remained in silence for a while, until Michael confessed the truth. Everyone laughed except Mary, who was looking at me a 'how do you dare look' and i whispered to her 'sorry', to try to save myself from the long talk about how did i dare to do that. That blowjob didn't mean anything. In fact, Michael and I met in a party and we got high and his dick end up on my mouth. That's the only thing i remember. But that drunken mistake made me oficially meet Ashton. So i don't regret anything.
And well since that incident Luke hated Michael for a year i think...

"So Ashton! Truth or dare?" Julie asked, letting a couple of fries into her mouth.
"Truth" he said
"Is true that you miss Caroline?" Julie asked. Of course her lets-make-drama questions can't be skipped.
"Everyday..." He said, looking at me in the eyes. I tried to avoid the eye contact and also tried NOT to blush.
"Nice" Emma said, "My turn to ask! Mary truth or dare"
"Dare" she replied.
Emma remained silent for some seconds, trying to figure out what Mary's dare would be.
"I dare you to kiss one of the guys in this tables EXCEPT Michael" Emma finally said.
I glanced at Mary, trying to make her realize that it wouldn't be nice if she kisses Ashton.
Michael said it'd be okay if Mary kissed any of the guys, so she choose Ashton. I was 100% this was some kind of revenge for the news about the blownjob.
After being forced to see my best friend making out with my ex, it was my turn.
"Dare" i said
"I dare you to stay with me for a week an my apartment, us, alone." Ashton said
My jaw dropped. I couldn't just live with my ex ALONE while my boyfriend is in California.
"I can't" i said, almost whispering.
Everyone in the table laughed, "its a game Caroline, you have to follow the rules" Julie said, between the laughs.
"I can't, Ash has a girlfriend and i have a boyfriend...it just wouldn't be okay." I said
"We are talking about staying with me in a apartment as friends, plus is not like we are going to have sex or anything" Ashton said.

I wished to know what was going on inside Ashton's head, he couldn't just make me do this... What was i going to tell to Luke about this now...? ""Sorry, we can't skype because im alone at Ashton's apartment, but nothing to worry about haha,"" no.

After a while, i was forced by Julie and the rest of the people to say yes, and stay with Ashton for a week in his apartment.

We stopped playing the stupid game after that stupid dare. And in a matter of hours, we all left. Michael took all of us to our houses, before i could get out of the car, Ashton grabbed my hand and said "Pack your things, im going to pick you up in a hour or so" i nodded.

I started packing my things in a old big bag, i packed some pijamas, my toothbrush, socks, a pair of jeans, shirts and many sweaters and jackets since it was REALLY cold outside. He came to pick me up at the right time, when i finished packing. The traveling was long, i only went once to his apartment, when we had sex for first time, oh god.

We arrived to his apartment and all i wanted was to sleep. I was exhausted. "Where is the bed? I REALLY want to sleep" i told him, and he took me there. It was a queen sized bed, the bed which he took my virginity on. Suddenly all the flashbacks came to my mind.
"Am i going to sleep here?" I said
"WE are going to sleep here?" He corrected me.
"No Ashton, i can't sleep with you...here" i said.

I am so afraid of my feelings, i didn't want them to come back. Im even still trying to figure out how am i going to tell all this to Luke.

"Well you can sleep in the floor then" he said, between giggles.
I sighed and laid down in the bed, Ashton laid next to me, we left a great distance between us.

I closed my eyes and tried to not to think about how awkward this was getting. Suddenly the room started to get colder and colder, i started to shiver and tried to cover myself with all the blankets but it wasn't enough, this cold wouldn't go away. Stupid winter.

Ashton noticed that i was shivering and softly said "Are you cold Care?"
"Yes" i replied. He came closer to me and wrapped his arm around me, and i rested my head on his chest. After some minutes i the cold went away. And i felt comfortable and safe in his arms...then i realized what was happening.
I was cuddling with my ex...and i like it.
