Andy scoops me up in his arms and rushes down the stairs. "Amy, Axel, Mr. Grey! Snow's water broke!" He screams frantically.
I see Amy and Axel tugging down their shirts and wiping their mouths. My dad is almost as frantic as Andy.
My stomach pains -contractions- are unbearable. I start sucking in deep breaths.
Andy, Amy, Axel, my dad, and I all pile in my car. I toss Andy my keys and he drives to the nearest hospital.
17 hours later
I'm laying in a hospital bed, breathing heavily, surrounded by nurses.
I cry out, as I feel a pressure between my legs. The doctors opens my legs and nods at the nurse.
The nurse is at my side, trying to ease me. "Take deep breaths." I do as she says and take the breaths.
The doctor nods again. My eyes are glazing over with tears. Andy from beside me, is squeezing my hand tightly. I suck in sharp breaths. "Okay. Push," the nurse says.
I push the baby out with all I have and hear the doctor talking. "I see a head." But everything is clouding over. They're voices are muffled.
I keep pushing until the pressure disappears and I'm huffing. I can finally see straight and hear. But the pain is so immense that my tears start to stain my cheeks. I can hear crying.
I can barely see Andy in the corner hands clasped together eyes on the baby I just delivered.
After the wipe the baby down and the nurse tends to me a bit. "You're very lucky, Snow, everything looks fine, and she's gorgeous."
I can't talk, but I almost gasp. A girl?
"Do you want to hold her?" the nurse says, smiling. I nod my head and gasp when they set her in my arms.
She's absolutely gorgeous. Her hair fall in soft platinum curls and her eyes, slightly swollen from crying, are a violet sea.
She looks so innocent, lying in my arms, mouth slightly open. I look up at Andy, smiling. Andy takes a picture of me.
He takes the baby from me and smiles, too. Looking at her as if she's the most precious thing in the world.
"Little Vanity," he says, kissing her forehead.
I smile, and the nurse tells me to rest. I drift of to a peaceful sleep, knowing my baby is in good hands.
*** 2 hrs later
I hold the beautiful baby girl in my arms. I gently kiss her forehead and my eyes start to droop. Amy bursts into the room.
"Let me hold my little niece!" she screams, grabbing the baby from my arms. She kisses her cheek and lays her down in my bassinet.
Vanity is fine. She gorgeous, healthy, and sweet.
Andy adores her, Amy thinks she is the cutest thing ever, Axel is just... Axel, and my dad looks at her with such adoration. Amy sits herself next to me and turns on the hospital's T.V.
Vanity begins to cry. Amy gets up and holds her. She tries to rock her but nothing's working. I take the baby and begin to rock her slowly back and forth. Her sobs stop short and soon she's alseep in my arms.
I hear the door creep open slightly and see Axel and his little sister who have a pink balloon and a 'It's A Girl!' bag.
They set it beside my table. "How are you feeling?" they ask simultaneously. For a spilt second, they glare at each other.
