BENS POV
How can someone work all the time? I mean my dad spends almost all his time at his restaurant. I don't mind having the house all to my self though. I haven't talked to Aero in a few weeks; I just don't know what to say.I haven't been alone, I met a girl two weeks ago. Someone who didn't know the old me, someone who understands this me. We've talked every single day and have had lunch and dinner a few times.
She told me she was invited to her friends house for lunch today, and invited me along. I guess we're in a relationship now. Also I want to go, considering this friend of hers is a guy!
I'm not the jealous type--well I don't think so anyways. I haven't been in a real relationship long enough to know yet. I'm not taking any chances!
AEROS POV
"You could have told me ahead of time!" I washed of the table. "Bring your date somewhere else."
Parker pulled out a chair and sat at the table. "You already said yes to having the lunch here! And she's not my date, she has a boyfriend I think."
I could tell he was angry. "It's true what they say. All the good ones are taken." He sighed.
I threw the wash cloth in the hamper, and sat down next to him. "Alright. So this, "Amy", is friends with you? Why?" I snickered.
"Excuse me! I'd have you know I'm a pleasure to be around!" Parker said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes. I stood up and went to check the oven, and lunch was- I guess you could say a little burnt...
"Well..." I took the pan out and set it on the counter.
"What?" Parker peered around the corner. "I'll order take out from Plaza." He yelled as soon as he saw the burnt lasagna. I don't really mind. I don't really like lasagna anyway.
I heard knocking from the other room. I went over to the door where Parker was now standing with the door open. "Well, this is awkward." Parker said.
I didn't know what was harder to comprehend. The fact that a look alike Lila was standing in front of me, or the fact that Ben was with her. "So you guys are like a thing?" Parker pointed back and forth between the two. "I guess so." Amy smiled.
I was frozen in place. Everything was spinning. Say something Aero, say something!
"Hey Aero!" Ben waved at me. The idiot I am still didn't move. I probably have the most stupid look on my face, but I can't do anything about it. What is wrong with me? I practically broke up with him!
My body finally started to come out of shock mode when Parker punched my shoulder."Ow!" I screamed. "Welcome back to planet earth." Parker said sarcastically. I shot a nasty glare at him and then turned and faced Ben and Amy. "Hi..."
After awkwardly sitting in the living room for what felt like forever, the pizza finally came.
"This is really good." Amy said breaking the silence.
"It's just pizza." Parker began. "How long have you guys been together anyways?"That was real smooth Parker. Real smooth.
"Um it's been about 2 weeks. But it was pretty much love at first sight!" Amy sounded so excited, Me on the other hand, not so much."Are you okay?" I looked at Ben. He showed a smile, but I know it's fake. "I'm fine. I'm just a little tired."
After awhile of small conversations I noticed how different Amy is from Lila. They may have the same face, but not the same personality. I don't even know what Parker was trying to establish by inviting her here. Even if she wasn't dating Ben, what's his plan? Date Amy? Pretend she's Lila? She's not.
"This was great. But Ben and I have to get going. Thanks for having us." Amy said standing up.
BENS POV
"It will be fine! No one is gonna come, it's summer! The school is closed anyways." Amy said as she crossed her arms and lifted her shirt over her head. "I still don't think we should be here."
I don't remember if I lived this kind of life before. I don't want to live it now. We broke into the school pool! I didn't really have a say in it, she caught me off guard.
Droplets of water splashed upon me as she jumped into the pool. "No seriously, I think we should go now." I said leaning towards the edge of the pool.
"Come on, you know you want to!" She screamed right before grabbing my leg making me fall into the pool. As I came up to the surface, water spit out of my mouth as I choked.
"What the hell!" I yelled.
She just laughed a swam away on her back. I pulled my self out of the pool, and stood up. My clothes were now sobbing wet. Great- this is just what I needed. The next I heard were sirens in the distance. "Amy let leave, NOW!" I yelled grabbing her arm and pulling her out of the pool. "Wow you're stronger than I thought." She began.
She looked around the area to see our situation. "You go that way and I'll go this way!" She pointed a door. "Should we really split up-" I started but she had already started making a run for it.
I ran to the door she pointed at. Before I could open it, I was staring a cop in the face. "Freeze! Hold it right there! Let me see your hands."
