AEROS POV
I wiped down the counters, tables, and the seats. It was almost closing time at Plaza when Mr. Adams got one last phone call. Honestly, I was trying not to ease drop. It just sorta happened.

"Excuse me? MY Benjamin? You must be mistaken." He spoke into the phone. After a bunch of mumbling he slammed the phone down. "Is everything okay?" I asked walking over to the counter.

"It seems Ben was just arrested for trespassing and breaking an entry!" He was so mad his face was turning red. Breaking and entering where? That kids life is all screwed up. I can't worry about him anymore. I have to focus on school which starts soon. He doesn't care about me so why should I care about him?

Boys. Can't date them, can't be around them.
My phone buzzed in my pocket startling me. It was a text from an unknown number. It read:

It won't be long now. Xoxoxo.

Maybe they got the wrong number? I ignored it and put my phone back in my pocket.

I got to my dorm and shoved the key in the knob. I could hear a voice coming from inside, so I froze. What around here can I use as a weapon? The only thing I had that sorta could count as a weapon was an umbrella. I slowly opened the door with the umbrella in my left hand and peeked inside. There was a girl sitting at the kitchen counter.

"Excuse me, may I help you?!" I yelled startling her. She whipped her head around and looked at me. She had a giant smile on her face. Her hair sat on her

shoulders which curved her face. "Are you just gonna stare?" I yelled at her again.

"Bonjour!" She smiled and stood up. She walked towards me with her arms wide open, and before I could react she latched onto me. "Who are you?" I pushed her away from me. Her smile finally dropped and now she looked confused. "Aero?"

"That's me." I began. "Did you walk into the wrong place?" She smiled and once again stated, "Aero?"
Sighing, I nodded my head.

"Okay lets go little puppy." I grabbed her arm and pulled her out the door. We went down to administration.

"Excuse me?" I taped the desk waking the old lady sitting there. "May I help you?" She mumbled rubbing her eyes.

"Yes. This girl here broke into my dorm by mistake." I pointed at the girl.

"Name?" The lady got her computer ready. We both looked at the girl and didn't say anything. "NAME?"

The old lady yelled. "Aero?" The girl said. "No, that's my name. What is your name?" "Aero!" She smiled again. "What? No- oh my god." I was getting frustrated now.

"Bonjour!" She yelled. The old lady sat up a little more and said, "Ohhhh. You must be the foreign exchange student. Emilie?" Emilie pointed at her self and said, "Je m'appelle Emilie!" Oh lord.

"There has been no mistake. Emilie here is your new roommate." The lady looked at me with her glasses half down her nose. "You've got to be kidding me." I mumbled and turned away.

I decided to walk away from Emilie and the desk lady and go back to my room. In the five minutes i've been gone, on my door was a poster for a back to school party. "Senior year will be quite the hoot." I said sarcastically while taking the poster down. "Party!"

I jumped to hear someone scream behind me. I turned around to see Emilie again. "Out of all the things you know in English party is one of them? Of course!" I opened the door and went inside. "Party!" Emilie repeated while following me in.

I tried to set boundaries with Emilie, but of course she didn't understand most things I said. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. I couldn't get more than 3 seconds of peace.

"What do you want?" I opened the door to a really cute guy standing in front of me. "Hi! Sorry to bother you..." he said. He was holding a stack of papers in his hands, the same paper that was on my door. "It's no bother really." I smiled stupidly.

"Well I'm having a party tomorrow...to celebrate us seniors! I'd love it if you and your friend came." He threw a smile at Emilie. "Sure...I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a little fun." I took a paper from him. We stood there looking at each other without saying anything.

"Party!" Emilie yelled startling me. I almost forgot that she was here. "So I'll see you there?" He asked. "Yes. You will." I smiled. He turned and walked down the hallway. "Wait, what's your name?" I yelled after him but he didn't hear me.

I shut the door behind me and went into the kitchen. We didn't have any food. "I guess we should go shopping." I said. "Party?" She asked this time. I sighed and replied, "Yes. Party."

BENS POV

I tried to balance my body on the metal bench, but it was too small. I sat up and leaned against the wall. I heard the door open, and a cop came in with an older man in hand cuffs.

"Wait what are you doing?" I asked standing up. "We are short on space, so we have to double up. And plus this is just a holding cell.

Get over yourself. It's just temporary." The officer spat at me. He opened the cell and took off the guys handcuffs and locked the cell again. "Hi..." I said to the guy. He didn't say the anything, he just stood in the corner. I sat back down on the end of the bench that was farthest away from the guy.

After what felt like hours of silence, the same officer from earlier came in the room. "Okay Shane. It's time to take you to general population prison."
Thank god. I can finally not look over my shoulder constantly.

The officer unlocked the cell and signaled for the guy to come over to him with his hands together. He slowly approached the police officer, when in the blink of the eye he got the upper hand on him. He pushed him back against the cell bars and took his gun from his holster and held it to his back. He took his handcuffs and the ring of keys that were on his belt and cuffed his hands to one of the bars. I froze. I couldn't move I was so terrified.

"You!" The guy finally spoke. He pointed the gun in my direction. "Get up and get in front of me."
I raised my hands up, and tried pleading. "Oh god. Oh god. Please...please don't kill me!" "Shut up and move." He put his left arm over my chest and shoved the gun against my lower back. "You're my leverage to get out of here. They can't shoot me if I have a kid." His voice was musty, and he had a southern accent.

We went down a hallway and found a back door. "Here, take the keys and unlock the door." I took the key from his hand and shoved it in the lock. We walked outside to the back of the police station where there was police cars lined up. "Find the key that goes to one of these cars, and maybe I won't shoot you."
