Chapter Nine: Now

PARKERS POV

"Come on Aero! Pick up!" I screamed into my phone. She didn't answer. It was about the 5th time I've called her in the past hour.
"Why don't you call 911!" Lila yelled. "I don't know what they're doing here I can't call 911 yet!"
My phone was down to 3% battery with one service bar.
"I'm gonna look for something to break that chain!" I went to the other part of the basement and looked around.
Come on, come on!
I looked around but couldn't find anything other than what looked like left overs from a furniture store.
"Wait, the tools!" I yelled running over to where I knocked over the tools earlier.
I found a rusty hammer and a flat head screw driver. I ran back to Lila and grabbed the chain. I pushed the screw driver in between one of the holes and hammered it down.
"Please work!" I muttered. I pounded it as hard as I could, and lucky the old rusty chain didn't give much of a fight. As soon as it broke, Lila Darted out the door. "Lila wait!" I yelled running after her still holding the hammer and screw driver. "I followed her to the top of the door of which she started pounding her fists on. "HELP!!!!" Lila scream. "Shhh! Wait!" I grabbed her arms. I grabbed out my phone.

I went to contacts and called my last resort.
The line rang 3 times before he answered.
"Hello?" I heard through the speaker.
P:
"Ben I need you to listen to me right now."
B:
"Who is this?"
P: "What? It's Parker you dumbass! I need your help! Lila and I are locked down in some cabin!"
B: "Very funny, but I know Lila's dead."
P: "No she's not! My father kidnapped her and faked her death! Pleas you need to help us!"
B:
"Okay Parker this isn't funny. Go prank someone else. I have better things to do."

Then the line went dead.
"No, no, NO!" I screamed. I have no choice but to call the police now.
I brought up the dial pad and started typing;

The screen turned black.
"Are you FRIKIN kidding me!" I yelled and threw my phone down the stairs.
I looked at Lila who had tears streaming down her face. "Don't worry." I grabbed onto her. "I'm gonna get us out of here. You will be safe again soon- I promise." I wiped her cheeks off with my finger.

AEROS POV

"I've never been here before, you think it's good?" I asked as Ben held the door open for me.We walked into a restaurant called "Masters of Making". It seems fancier than Plaza so we figured this would be a good "first" date place.

"I think it's new because I've never been here, but then again how would I know given certain events." Ben showed a fake smile. "Very true." I nodded my head. A waiter sat us down at a booth next to a big window. The sun had set about 15 minutes ago, I watched it go down as we drove here.
We both looked at the menu's for something to eat. Ben jumped a little as I heard his phone buzzing. He pulled it out of his pocket and said, "I'll be right back."
I continued looking through the menu, when my phone went off. I set the menu down and pulled out my phone. My screen lit up with a text from Emilie. I guess leaving her alone wasn't the best idea. I had taught her how to use the microphone to type text for her that she says.
The message read:
Salut Arrow me Emilie Friends are visiting here for you Arrow Daughter wants to find Park Her And you. We hang Around until your back is coming here. I gone now!

How am I supposed to know what the hell that means?!
"Hey." Ben sat back down. "So who was that?" I asked setting my phone on the table. "It was your brother." He inhaled deeply. "Great. What did he want?" I sighed. Not that I actually cared what he wanted.
"He was acting crazy, I think he was trying to prank me." Ben chuckled a little bit.
The waiter came back over to our table looking to take our order. "Just a water please." Ben ordered. "You're not getting anything to eat?" I asked. He handed his menu to the waiter. "I'm actually not hungry." I started to laugh when he said that.
I laughed because I wasn't hungry either.
"Just a water for me too."
The waiter took my menu and nodded. "A man of many words." Ben laughed as the guy walked away. I smiled and felt like I could smile forever. But of course that moment was ruined because i remembered what we were talking about. "So what do you mean Parker pranked me?" I asked.
"He just- he was talking about Lila being alive and being locked in a cabin somewhere or something." Ben told me.
"Really? That's a new low even for him." I complained. "Speaking of crazy, I got a weird text from Emilie." I said and then read him what the text said. "What? That makes no sense!" He laughed a little. "I know I might have to hire her a translator or something!"

I was on my second glass of water and we were having a great time. It might have felt like nothing had happened if hell hadn't walked through the door at this moment.
