PARKERS POV

"How can I get Amy to fall in love with me?" I asked. He looked at me and shrugged. "You're no help at all Jake. Go out and help your teammates." I stood up and walked away. Twelve year olds give the worst advice. "I'm leaving." I told Coach Evans as I walked out the back door.
My stomach rumbled which told me I was hungry. I want a sub from Stop and Shop. Yeah, that sounds nice.

AEROS POV
"Weewoo weewoo!" Emilie imitated the police cars that flew by the store. "Could you stop that?" I turned to her and said in a stern voice. She stopped and hung her head low. "So what else do you like to eat?" I asked her as we browsed through more aisles. "Eat!" She asked touching just about everything on the shelves. "Yes. Eat." Right as i was about to grab some cheese off the shelf, someone else's hand reaches for the same package I was grabbed. "We meet again." The guy who invited me to the party earlier greeted. "Appears so." I smiled. "I'm just picking up a few things for the party." I looked into his cart and saw lots of chips and soda. "I'm picking up food so I don't starve." I said awkwardly. He chuckled a little and asked, "I never caught your name?"

"Oh right. My name is Aero." I offered out my hand. "Michaels. Jason Michaels. Nice to meet you." We shook hands for probably a little too long. "I didn't realize how late it was." He said letting my hand go and looking at his watch. I took my phone from my jeans pocket and clicked it on.
9:02 pm.

Jeez I didn't realize either. Maybe if Emilie was a little more educated in the English department we wouldn't be in a grocery store for 3 hours.
My thoughts were interrupted when Jason turned his head and said, "Oh great he's here. Let's go man before he gives us crap for not invited him to the party." He turned back to me. "See you tomorrow at the party, right?" He smiled once more. I nodded my head and said, "Yeah, I party hard!" He laughed and walked away. "I party hard"? Seriously Aero?! You never party! Like, ever!

I turned to see who he was talking about, and that's when I saw him. He was browsing the chips when he saw me staring. I turned away quickly and grabbed the cart and Emilie's arm. "Lets go now." I said running in the opposite direction of my brother. "Run!" Emilie yelled as we went toward the checkout.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, and I tapped the answer button. "Hello?"

"Aero? Hi it's Amy!"

Lord. What did I do to deserve this?

For some reason Amy wanted to talk in person, so i dropped Emilie off at the dorm with the food and went to what I offered as a meeting place. The book store.

"Hey thanks for meeting me!" She said as we walked in. We went to the little café in the corner of the store and sat down at a little round table. "So what was so important that you couldn't say over the phone?" I asked.

That sounded more rude out loud than it did in my head. "I just wanted to make sure you are gonna listen and see my face when I tell you this." Her smile disappeared so fast you would think she was The Flash. "Listen closely. I want you and your flirty little feelings to stay away from Ben."

I think she has a few loose screws.

"I don't know what you think- but Ben and I are barely even friends." I tried explaining, but she didn't care. "Don't play dumb, Aero. I know your still in love with him. I see it on your face every time you look at him. Now leave him alone, or else!" "Excuse me, is that a threat?" Amy stood up dramatically and leaned closer to me.

"It's a promise. If I even so much as hear you talk about him from now on, I'll cut your pretty little face off your head." I sat in silence as I watched her leave the book store. What just happened? Did she just say something about cutting my face off? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUC-my thoughts were interrupted. A women in a "Reading is dreaming" quoted shirt on said, "Excuse me mam if you're not here to purchase anything, you need to leave." "I was gonna buy..." I looked around and the first thing I saw was perfect." ..."That!"

The next morning I was eating cereal when Emilie came out from her room. "I got you a gift!" I threw the book at her. She caught it and looked at the cover. "It's a French to English dictionary, to help you learn more." She smiled and flipped through for a while. She finally said, "You're welcome."
Close enough. It's gonna be a looong day.

PARKERS POV

Why wasn't I invited to Jason's party? Why does he gotta keep the past alive?! Like Elsa says, "The past is in the past". Why can't he let it go? It was the 1st grade!
I looked at the clock and it was 7:00 P.M. Party time!

AEROS POV

We got to what I assume to be Jason's parents house, and there was already tons of people there. We shoved our way through the drink table which was filled with alcohol. "Aero you made it!" I turned to see Jason. "Anything non-alcoholic?" I asked.

"What do you mean, there's a cups of soda!" I looked back at the table. I'm not trusting cups of soda next to a bunch of empty vodka bottles. "I'm not thirsty anymore." I smiled, but it was too late for Emilie. She already downed to cups of "soda". "PARTY!" She screamed. "Oh boy." "That's gonna be fun to deal with later." Jason laughed.

I was having a good time talking to Jason. He's smart, funny, and good looking. But she ruined it. When I saw her, it was out do the corner of my eye, but I knew it was her. She was flirting with a group of boys in the corner. "Amy?" Emilie pointed. "That's a word you don't need." I yelled to her.

Thats when I saw him coming our way. "Parker what are you doing here!" I complained. "Yeah, you weren't invited." Jason said crossing his arms. The room got suddenly quiet. "Are seriously still mad about the 1st grade." Parker laughed. "It's not funny! You ruined my life!" Jason yelled at him. "Your life looks pretty fine to me!" Parker screamed back. "You got me kicked out of the best private school in the state!"

"Technically I didn't get you kicked out if you never got in."

After that comment, Jason charged towards Parker and tackled him to the ground. "Guys cut it out!" I yelled as they brawled out on the floor, but everyone else was now yelling fight so they didn't hear me.

"What you think you can get back at me by pretending to like my sister!" The room fell quiet again. They stopped fighting and both stood up. "Yeah I over heard you talking to your "boys" at the store. I heard everything.

How you wanted to make her fall in love with you and then break her heart just to get back at me." Parker yelled even though Jason was right in front of him. My heart dropped. "Is that true?" I asked looking at Jason.

He couldn't look me in the eyes anymore. "It's nothing against you..." I didn't bother to hear anything else he had to say. I ran through everyone to get outside. I had to go. I needed fresh air and to not have a panic attack in front of all those people. I put my hands on my knees and tried not to cry. "You party hard!" I heard Emilie say behind from me.
