AEROS POV
•••
"Did I get it?" He asked wiping his chin once more. "Here, let me do it." I licked my thumb and wiped the chocolate frosting off his face. "This is amazing." Ben smiled taking another bite of the triple chocolate cake. "I had no idea you could cook!"
It's my 4th date with Ben and I hadn't told him I can't cook for shit. I went to a bakery and bought a cake, he just assumed that I made it. I didn't feel the need to correct him.
"Yeah..well." I smiled. I enjoyed spending time with Ben. He's different from other guys. A little geeky, yes, but he's nice. Nicest guy I've ever dated in fact. I think I might be falling in love. Love. That one word flew around in my head the whole night.

•••

My eyes opened as someone carried me. I thought it was Ben at first, because I passed out to him holding me. I glanced up and saw it wasn't Ben, but someone I wished to never see again. The person who constantly ruined my life (besides Parker of course), my nightmare of a father.

I took my hand and hit him in his face, but he didn't let me go. I half cried because this is one of the worst situations to be in, and also the throbbing pain in my side. "You- you murderer!" I screamed. The next thing I saw was Trevor coming  towards us, with a syringe in his hand.

"Don't-" I started saying but he already
injected me with whatever it was. "What's- what's going on?" I mumbled feeling dizzy again. "You'll find it soon enough." My father whispered down to me.

PARKERS POV

"...and when they open the door, I'll bash whoever's skull in." I told Lila my plan. I saw she was still shaking, so I held onto her hand a little longer. "Are you sure this will work?" She asked gripping my hand tighter. "It has to. We don't have many options." I reassured her.
"I just want to get out of here." She sniffled leaning on me.

Even though her hair was all over the place, her skin was dirty, and she smelt like a dumpster, I had never seen someone as beautiful as her. I love her, and I'll do anything to keep her safe. I took her for granite before, but not this time. I'd die before letting anyone even touch her in a harmful way again.

I let go of her and picked up a giant rusty wrench. I went to the top of the stairs and waited. Waited for someone to open that door and regret all the decisions that lead them here.
After what felt like hours of waiting, I heard someone on the other side of the door. The door flung open and I swung and hit something hard. I tried to do it so hard I fell to the floor on top of the guy. I raised my arm to swing again when I realized it wasn't my father or Trevor I had hit. It was Ben. I dropped the wrench on the floor.
"Oh my god!" Lila cried out.
Ben was laying still on the floor, and I'm his hand were the keys to the door.
