Everyone except Amy, Amy's father, Aero and Ben ran past Amy out of the restaurant. "You need to keep your eyes open! Stay awake Aero please! Look at me!" Ben looked down into Aeros eyes which slowly closed. "Unless you want a bullet in you, get up." Amy's father pointed the gun at Ben. "I'm not leaving her." Ben sniffled not moving. "Take her with you." Her dad replied. Amy rolled her eyes and started heading out the back door of the restaurant.
Surprisingly enough Ben was able to lift up Aero and carry her. Ben followed behind Amy, and her dad was behind Ben holding the gun up towards him.
PARKERS POV
"Wait I hear someone coming." Parker whispered to Lila and they both went to the bottom of the stairs. After a moment of weird noises, the door opened, and behind it was a familiar face. "My son!" Fred exclaimed. His body stomped down the stairs towards us. "I should of know you were behind this." I said and went and stood in front of Lila. "I think I'll take that as a compliment." Fred started. "So I see you've found your, how do you say, "long lost lover"." He continued coming closer. "Stay back!" I screamed at him. "Oh come on, no hug for your father?" With his arms open he laughed at himself. "Well I'll let you guys get aquatinted, I just came to say a quick hello- our guest shall be arriving soon."
He thinks he running a frikin circus!"What are you talking about?" I asked and he made his way back to the top of the stairs. "You'll fun out shortly." He shut the door and locked it behind him.
"We're gonna die down here....we're gonna die!" Lila put her hands to her head and crouched down. "Hey hey hey- no one is going to die except the asshole keeping us here." I comforted her. "We need a new plan."BENS POV
I woke up dizzy. I opened my eyes and looked around. There was a wooden door in front of me and I was surrounded by bookshelves. It looks like I was teleported into a law firm. I was in a chair that was to the right of a big desk. The blood on me was dry now, but it stained my clothes and skin. I tried rubbing it off but it wouldn't budge.
Where's Aero?I got up and ran to the door. I must of stood up a little too fast because I slammed my shoulder into the side of one of the shelves. I blew it off and went to grab the knob and turned it.
Locked.
I tried again only leaning my body into it this time hoping it would help. News flash, it did absolutely nothing. I pounded my fist on the door and yelled, "Let me out of here! What did you do with Aero?!"After a couple of minutes of making noise and nothing happening, I stoped and looked around once more.
Books, books, and more books! What could he possibly need all these books for?
I went over to one of the shelves and pick out the first book that caught my attention. It was big and thick, bounded in brown leather. I untied the strings and opened the books. I flipped to the first page and read it.
In black ink it read:
"He who shall read upon the will appear throughout the pages truly unspoken."
The hell does that mean?
I flipped to the next page, but it was blank. I placed it back in it's empty spot and move on to another book. This book was colored red and not as thick as the other one. I opened it up, and on the first page it said one word, one name.
"Lila"
I flipped to the next page which was filled with words. I skimmed through the page.
"8/24/16.
Captured and brought to the quarters.
Valid information. Supposedly dead, not dead. Lilly is dead.
...
11/20/16.
Hasn't spoken but has the look. Will give up soon.
...
2/5/17.
Tracked down Aero in Paris, not a problem yet. Lila refused food again today.
Things will change soon.
...
7/19/17.
Parker obtained. Trevor no longe needed. Lila will feel again."That was the last entry made. These books aren't normal books- they're more like journals. I threw the book into the floor and grabbed the one next to it. I flipped to the first page.
"Parker"
7/19/17.
Trever brought him here. Parker obtained with Lila".That was the only thing written in this book. I threw it on the floor. I grabbed the next one.
My heart was racing.
First page:
"Aero."
Blank. Nothing else except "Aero."
I threw it on the floor. Grabbed the next one.
Flipped it open. Only one word written, one name.
"Ben."
I dropped the book. He's been documenting it all. Planning it all. I know who put everyone up to this. The same way everything started.
Aero and Parker's father.
I went over to the desk and started looking through it. On top of it was a picture of all the Carlton's. Ironic. There was a pretty women with long brown hair next to their father, who I'm assuming was their mother.
I opened up the top drawer in the desk. A book bound in black leather lied in the drawer. If I'm gonna be stuck in here, better make my time worth it.EMILIES POV
Hi Emilie my name is!
Travaille toujours dessus. J'espère que je vois Aero bientôt!
