PARKERS POV
"Just a little further and we'll be there." Trevor said driving the weird, tinted windowed truck. "Why am i with you again?" I asked looking out the window. We had been driving for a while and there was just mostly been trees around. "I just figure, I do something for you and you do a little something for me."
"And how do I know you're not bringing me somewhere to kill me?" I snickered a little. "Trust me, if I was gonna kill ya, you'd be dead." He laughed. "Trusting you is like trusting- well, you." I mumbled under my breath. We made a right turn and drove up a long dirt road. At the end there was a small cabin. That's not suspicious at all.
I got out of the truck and slammed the door. I followed him inside the cabin. Dark wooden walls surround space that looked like a normal hunting cabin. Trevor walked over to a wooden side table that was next to a black chair. He slid the drawer at the top of the table open, and grabbed out a key ring with a few keys on it. "So I want you to not freak out, okay? Think of whatever keeps your boat floating. Rainbows or butterflies alright? Just keep that in mind." Trevor walked towards a door in the corner of the room that I hadn't even notice at first. "Okay you're officially scaring me." I said taking a step back. He finally found the the key that fit in the lock of the door. He looked at me and signaled me to come to him. "Come on man, we gotta do this quickly." Trevor said as he went down. I walked over to the door and saw him walking down a set of stairs. I sighed and said "Fine whatever."
It was pretty dark down the stairs, so I couldn't see anything at the bottom. "Trevor?" I said into the darkness. I walked forward a little with my hands out in front of me until I felt something. I then felt something graze my back, so I turned around to face the stairs where there was a little light from the top of them. At the top of the stairs i saw Trevor. There was a light switch at the top of the stairs on the wall and he switched it on. "Hey what are you-?" I started to ask but before I finished he went out and shut the door. "HEY WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I ran to the top of the stairs. I tried to open it but it was locked. I pounded my fists on the door and screamed. "Would you shut up and just go down stairs!" Trevor said through the door. "Why are you doing this?" I yelled. I heard him walk away from the door. Why do i keep ending up in these situations?
"What's down here anyway?" I whispered heading back down the stairs. I got back to the bottom of the stairs and looked around. It looked mainly like a normal basement. Shelves filled with clutter items, dusty, and quiet. I went over to one of the shelf's and picked up a an old, rusty wrench. What am i gonna pry the door open with a wrench? I went to put it back on the shelf but i must of missed because when it hit the ground it made a loud clang. I bent down to pick it up when a pounding noise startled me. Looking around, it still appeared i was alone, but the strange noise continued. I walked towards the noise and in a back corner of the basement there was a door that pretty much blended in with the wall. There was a bolt lock on the door, and when the noise stopped i slid it opened. BAM! I was tackled by a shadow in the dark. "Get off me!" I yelled pushing the thing off me. 'PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!" A female voice said. I heard a click and that's when i saw her standing by the light switch."Amy how did you get here?" i asked standing up. "Please- just please let me go!'' she yelled. That's when i noticed the chain on her leg that was also attached to the wall. I looked around to see a dirty mattress on the floor with a small blanket on the floor next to it. I then realized she looked dirty and her hair was messy and just about down to her lower back. "Wait you-you- you're- i know you...'' she looked confused. "It's me... Parker..." i replied. She put her hands on her head and turned away from me. She was mumbling but she was still loud enough for me to hear some of what she was saying. "...Impossible....all dead...he killed them all...no,no, no!"
"Amy who did this to you? Was it Trevor? I'll kill the little bastard!" i exclaimed. ''Stop calling me that! I know- i know who i am!" She began mumbling again. "Remember...you're Lila...don't forget...Lila...think think think!"
What? No...that's...it can't be... she's dead. Lila is gone.
"Don't say that. Lila is dead." i told her. She tried running at me, but the short length of the chain stopped her before she reached me. I jumped back and she yelled, "I"M LILA! YOU CAN'T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME! YOU'RE LIKE HIM!" I then noticed how bad she smelled. It was almost like she hadn't showered in months.
"Lila is gone. I held her body in my arms." i said softly. "He lied. He made it look like i had died when really he took me and has had me locked down here." She begged for me to believe her. I walked towards her, and she backed up a little. I finally got close enough to place my hand on her cheek. "Lila?" I whispered. She closed her eyes and placed her hand on mine. "Parker?"
How is this possible? She- she- she was dead!
