It was midday when Tonaya walked into the mansion that belonged to her best friend and her boyfriend, from the cottage she'd spent the night in. Herself, Willow and August had stayed up real late, just having fun with boardgames, booze and weed and it was a wonderful distraction from Tonaya's regular thoughts on that idiot she used to date, Rakim. There was more distracting they'd be doing later on. Willow was treating Tonaya to a night out and August was tagging along.

He felt sorry for Tonaya. She'd become a sister to him and he was so ready to make Rakim swallow his teeth and he knew just who'd be more than happy to help him with that. That person, unbeknownst to Tonaya, would be joining them later on, after he came over to drop his things off in time for their camping trip.

In the kitchen, Willow had started making preparations for lunch. She'd been up for hours already and so had August who wasn't home at that time, due to work.

"Morning." Tonaya rubbed her eyes and pulled up her pyjama shorts by the waistband.

"Good day, Toni." Willow smiled.

"Shit, I slept in." Tonaya grumbled.

"No harm done. I saved your breakfast for you. Kinda figured you wouldn't show up cause you got stoned last night."

"I'm so hungry."

Willow laughed and got Tonaya's food out of the microwave and placed it at the breakfast bar.

"I hope you won't be feeling like this all day because I'm in the mood to properly get wasted tonight." Willow said.

Tonaya sat down on a stool at the breakfast bar and put her phone on the granite surface. It was still on silent and Rakim's number was as good as blocked.

"You spoken to Edison lately? He's trying to get ahold of you about the basketball game." Willow made conversation.

"I haven't spoken to anyone but you and Mariah on the phone since..."

"Right. Call Edison though. He's also worried."

"Sure." Tonaya whispered.

"Babe, I know you're hurting--"

"I feel like the doofus of the century, actually." Tonaya interjected.

"But you can't shut the world out, T. People are actually supporting you-- the Dynasty fans... we're all so proud of you for standing up and letting your real emotions out."

Tonaya didn't believe that.

"Everybody respects you for having been so strong all along, especially when it comes to your on and offs with Chris. What you did now, it's proof that everybody has a breaking point and you reached yours." Willow continued, "That's strength."
