Got this flight to London, I ain't pop no Xans for it
In case you was wonderin', I ain't even plan for it
I just left L.A, barely caught the plane
Fuckin' TSA, swear a nigga ran for it
Ain't used to this fame shit
This you-all-know-my-name-shit
Me, I'm just the same kid
That fucked around and made it
Fucked over my main chick
Damn she was the main chick
Thinkin' 'bout the game
I shouldn't have played, but I played it

And now I'm missin' your love
I'm faded once again, I don’t know where I am
But I just know I'm driftin' far from you
I'm tryna keep my head strong, but my heart won't
Just let me grow away from you
Don't you know we're driftin' off, driftin' off?
I know you think that it's my fault we're fallin' off
All this hope and disregard, driftin' off
I know you think there ain't no fault, we fall apart
And now I'm missin' your love

The weekend that Tonaya hadn't quite been looking forward to had finally arrived. Willow had convinced her to look at it as a chance to bond with Royalty, when she and Tonaya had spoken on the phone, catching up on events.

After preparing snacks and being all domesticated, Tonaya went upstairs to change into something casual. She had put herself in a mother's shoes and the last thing she wanted was to have her nice clothes ruined by accidents.

While slipping into a pair of shorts, Tonaya heard Nia's voice coming from the foyer.

"Positivity," Tonaya reminded herself as she put on her black Puma slides.

She walked down the stairs and found that Chris had just made it to the foyer to greet his daughter and Nia too.

"Nia," Tonaya smiled to be polite.

"Hello, Tamia," Nia faked a smile as she looked Tonaya up and down. She was judging Tonaya's outfit alright.

"Nia." Chris warned.

Nia rolled her eyes.

"Uh, I made some snacks and sandwiched for today," Tonaya said, "Chris told me that Royalty doesn't take too well to tomatoes so I kept them off the food."

"Alright," Nia smiled at Tonaya, "playin' mommy. I'm surprised."

"I wasn't playing anything. I just wanted Royalty to feel welcome." Tonaya defended herself.

"You wanted her to feel welcome in her daddy's house?" Nia crossed her arms, still smiling.

"Yes. She doesn't live with him so I just wanted to accommodate her, you know? Put everything where she can access it."

"Hm," Nia chuckled.

"You're more than welcome to have a look. See if the food is up to your standards." Tonaya crossed her arms.

"I will, actually." Nia pushed past Tonaya as she walked to the kitchen with her nose tilted up and an extra sway in the way her hips moved when she walked away.
