Tonaya hung up the phone and smiled happily as she placed her phone to her chest. If she wanted to be moved into her new apartment any time soon, she knew that she'd need help and that was exactly why she'd set up a meeting with an interior designer for the morning.

Tonaya's day was looking busy. Apart from this meeting with Melanie, the designer, Tonaya wasn't looking forward to the day. The girls of Dynasty were meeting up to brainstorm a new single and, with Bella being a constant pain in Tonaya's ass and Willow being upset, Tonaya wanted to get the day over and done with already.

Chris walked into the house, dripping wet from doing a couple laps in his pool. He toweled himself down as he walked into the kitchen where Tonaya was now fixing herself a bottle of mint and lemon water for the road.

"I'm gonna see you later, okay, babe?" Tonaya screwed on the cap of her waterbottle once she closed the fridge.

"You're leaving already?" Chris placed his damp towel over his shoulder.

"Yeah," Tonaya ran her hand over her hair, "I have a lot to do today, you know that."

"Try to fix things with Willow."

"I will. Hopefully she's cooled off and understands now."

"Just be real with her," Chris pecked Tonaya's forehead tenderly.

He understood just how strained Tonaya was actually feeling. It couldn't have been easy to have everyone's back turned against you. Chris was all she had.

"I'll catch you later," Tonaya braved a smile.

"Cool. Drive safe. I love you."

Tonaya blew Chris some kisses as she picked up her purse. She hurried out of the house to her first stop: her apartment.

With over eight years of experience under her belt, Melanie had lots of experience in her line of work. She was good at communicating her ideas to Tonaya and Tonaya found it was easy for her to communicate hers to Melanie. They hit it off quite fast, to say the least, and with notes jotted down and quick floor plan sketches done, Tonaya and Melanie scheduled another meeting for a follow-up. With the vision that Melanie had given Tonaya, she was excited to see the final product of what was going to be her new home.

Tonaya couldn't wait to move into her new space. She could already imagine hosting dinners with Willow, August and Chris, and Mariah if she ever got over herself; she imagined the late nights spent romancing with Chris, girls night in... what Tonaya was ultimately looking forward to was having her privacy back. Having an overprotective sister wasn't easy.
