*** I'd really like to apologise for the delayed update. I've been busy with a whole bunch of things but I'm working on having this book completed soon ❤ hope you enjoy this (sad) chapter ***

I been thinking bout you
Yeah I been missing you
Where the hell are you, oh when I need you?
I could still hear your voice
I ain't got no choice
Cause I'm here all alone
I know I can't wait till you get home
Oh I don't have you here with me
But at least I have a memory
I try to make it through the night
But I can't control my mind
I'm just thinking bout you
I'm thinking bout you
I'm thinking bout you
...
Got these thoughts in my head
Ain't no way to forget
Got me losing my breath
Nobody got me the way that you did
Had my eyes rolling back
Had me arching my back
Now you loved me so good
I wish you would hurry up and come back
Oh I don't have you here with me
But at least I have a memory
I try to make it through the night
But I can't control my mind
I'm just thinking bout you
I'm thinking bout you
I'm thinking bout you

Thinking Bout You- Ariana Grande

Tonaya dragged her bag into the dark lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel. She adjusted her big designer shades which hid her reddened eyes, and she braved a smile as she walked up to the front desk.

"Welcome to the Four Seasons Hotel. How can I be of service?"

"Hi, could I please have a room for... a couple days. I'm... maybe one of your nicer ones? A nice suite please?" She said to the young lady behind the desk.

"Got you. Room 388 is perfect."

Tonaya quietly thanked the woman and gave her personal details before getting her key card.

"Enjoy your stay, Ms Tahané," the receptionist smiled.

Tonaya smiled politely and stepped into the elevator. As soon as the doors closed, she closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath. Her tears began to fall as her last moment with Chris replayed in her mind. She still couldn't believe it. It was over.

She hurried to her suite, keeping her head down, and she locked herself inside.

After unpacking some of her belongings and getting comfortable, Tonaya picked up her cellphone and walked to the living room while dialing Willow's number. She wanted to tell it all to her best friend and have her fly down for her but then she remembered that Willow was engaged. The last thing she wanted to do was draw Willow away from her blissful time with her man. Willow was happy and in love, ready to step into a new chapter of her life and Tonaya respected that.

She tossed her phone aside and pulled forward the complimentary throw that was on the couch once she got seated.

The room felt cold. Empty. Quiet. Tonaya would have to get used to living like this because God knew that, once her place was fully done up, this would be the vibe.

She spent a little over a week in there, just closed up and in her feelings. She cried herself to sleep each night, even when she didn't intend to, and all her days were spent either wondering about Chris or fighting thoughts about him. She'd drink her feelings away and unintentionally drunk text or call him to give him a piece of her mind, she'd order up loads of food to binge watch comedy shows which weren't really funny since she was in a mood, she'd even hit the gym to punch a few punching bags or, she'd stay in her room and just... be.
