It was only a month since last time I updated lol I suck I know! Brynn POV

My face paled and I excused myself with the excuse I needed to use the restroom.

My purse was still slung across my body from earlier and I pulled out my phone quickly, hands fumbling with the password.

"Come on pick up!"

My own voice sounded on the answering machine, Hey looks like no one's home! Leave your name and number and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

Beep...

"Hey mom, umm, well I guess your not home yet. I'll call back soon." I hung up and annoyed threw my phone onto the counter.

"Brynn?" Lindsey's voice called as a knock sounded on the door.

"What?" I replied dryly.

"Are you ok?" She asked, voice soft and caring.

I unlocked the door and pulled it open, "Fine." I walked past her and wandered through the house on my own until I found Lucas.

"Take me home," I told him, running a hand through my hair.

"What's wrong?," he murmured, stepping closer and reaching for me.

I stepped back to keep the distance between us. "This," I motioned between us, "it's crazy."

"I know this is probably hard for you but-" I cut him off.

"Yes this is hard for me!" My voice got louder,

"Brynn, don't do this. I think I'm in love with you."

"You don't even KNOW me! I met you today!" I got louder still.

"It's the bond, I've only known you for a day but I feel like I've known you forever."

"Take me home." I nearly screamed it this time.

Anger crosses his face and his eye color started to change.

Emmitt stepped in then, he must have overheard. "I'll take her home."

Lucas started shaking, eyes no longer holding a trace of their soft brown. He raced off towards the back door, shifting before he made it out.

"You shouldn't have done that," Emmitt said simply.

I stalked up to him and grabbed him by the shirt. "Don't you tell me what the HELL I should or shouldn't have done! Got it!?"

"Got it," he said, averting his eyes.

Emmitt POV

Damn... I got one pissed off alpha female on my hands. Why'd you have to go and offer her a ride! I scolded myself.

The worst part is, she hasn't even come into her luna powers and she already can make me submit.

I looked back up into her eyes, fury blazed in them. "Let's get you home now."
