11. Isogai Yuuma x Reader

3rd person pov.

"Hey, are you okay?" The little 6 years old girl looked up and saw a dark brown haired person, who was about the same age as her, holding out one hand with a gentle smile.

"Y-yeah... Thanks," the girl muttered while standing up with tears trickling down her cheeks.

"Don't cry, what's your name? I'm isogai yuuma!" He flashed her a wide smile.

"(Fi-First name) (Last Name)..."

"(Name)-chan... Huh? That's a cute name."

"Thank you.." Finally, she showed him a smile. And that was the start of their friendship. Ever since then, iosgai had always been defending (name) from bullies. By the time they turned 7, isogai became popular with girls that were at their age and they started drifting apart from each other, but still, they were still good friends, only not talking very often...

"Isogai! Thinking about that again? You know it's over," Maehara sighed, knowing that the ikemen was thinking about the past again. "Even though you keep saying it's not over, you know she's in class A,"

"She's different..." Isogai retaliated, knowing that he hasn't told maehara about a certain part of his past so of course he would think (name)'s no different from those class A's students.

"Yu-yuuma... I'm going overseas... With my parents, I'm sorry..." Isogai was shocked at the sudden sentence but he couldn't bring himself to get angry at her after seeing her sad face. "Yuuma! Don't make that face! You know... No one is gonna like you if you show that face!" She tried to lighten up the mood, only to see the boy crying. In the end, she cried too.

"Yuuma... When I come back and we're old enough... Let's get married..." She still forced a smile on her face no matter what.

"Yeah... Let's... Get married..." Isogai choked out with a sad smile.

"I'm going home now," isogai said once class ended. On the way home, he saw (name), to his surprise. Guess what, she saw him too.

"Yuuma... I missed you," that exact sad smile she showed last time... He could never forget it. Unable to say anything, he only nodded. "Too bad... I can't speak to you since I'm 'not allowed' to... " of course, he knew everyone despised them, if (name) talked to him, she would get treated like them too and not only that, she would bring down class As reputation.

"Then, let's get along after graduation, I'll see you next time, yuuma."

"Yeah..."

"Then... Let's get married..." He was glad that she didn't forget that and ended up smiling.

"Pinky promise..." They nodded with a small smile, knowing that they were actually still close as ever... In their heart.
