Happy new year~!! 2016 sure has some up and down moments but it's a pretty good year for me though a lot of people has been saying it's not a good one. Towards the end of 2016, more depressing things have happened but I hope it didn't make my stories worse >~< Things might have been tough for you guys but it'll get better! have a wonderful 2017!

"Gakushuu!!!" You called out to your boyfriend who was currently sitting on the couch beside you.
"What? Don't shout, you're gonna hurt my ear,"
"Sorry!" You apologized jokingly as you watched the television. "But hey, it's gonna be the new year soon, there's only a few minutes to go, I'm sooo excited!"
"There's nothing to be excited about, it's just gonna be a normal day since you're just gonna stay at home," he stated out, not that he was wrong though. You were surely gonna stay at home all day long again, just like usual.
"Well, but it's your birthday too, of course I'm excited!" You emphasized on the 'your', wanting him to know why you're that excited for the new year. "Right! Lemme hear your new year resolution~ "
"Hmhp, I have no new year resolution. I will just do what I usually do, just like all the other years," he didn't even bother to think of one to answer you. That's just how he is.
"A birthday wish?"
"I have no wish, isn't it the same? All I need is to get good grades, what about you, what's your resolution?" He asked you, hoping to change the subject with one of your new year resolution.
"Mine is, I'm gonna study harder! And I want to get closer to you than before, and the third one is (whatever your resolution is)~" you immediately replied him with a wide smile which made him smile a little too.
"Do your best, I'll help you study if you need,"
"WHAT ABOUT THE SECOND ONE THAT I SAID? HELP ME WITH THAT TOO!" you asked him loudly with a small pout.
"Well, do that on your own," he smirked after seeing your frown.
"Fine!! I'll do that, just you wait!"
"Sure sure," you turned away from him, faking anger, hoping him to give in and help you. "Well, (name), my birthday gift, give me something." He 'demanded', expecting to receive something from you. Aha! You got it.
"Help me before I give you that!"
"Nope. You do that yourself,"
"Fine, no gift for you," you said with a playful tone, stealing glances at him and found him annoyed. Did it work?
"Sure. I guess you just wasted your money," ... No, it didn't.
"Fineeeee," you whined out, unsatisfied with his reply.
"Good. I'll help you then,"
"Seriously!? Thanks shuu~" you jumped around, before hugging him.
"Just stop with the nickname," he let out a sigh at your childish behavior.
