"It's karma's birthday today and I haven't even got him any present! Gahh... I bought everyone Christmas presents but I have no idea what karma wants, what should I do!?" You were so nervous since you actually called karma to go out with you because you wanted to help him celebrate his birthday. You decided to call several people to ask for their opinions.
"Huh!? Karma-kun? I don't know, sorry (name)-san," nagisa apologized.
"It's okay nagisa! I guess I'll ask Rio then." You told him before dialing Rio's number.
"Karma you say!? Whoot~ don't ask me! If you're that interested in him, ask him yourself (name). GOOD LUCK I'M CHEERING~" she shouted and ended the call immediately before you even have the chance to clear up the misunderstanding. Well, it's probably not even one and it's just her trying to make fun of you. 'Shit, it's already time to meet karma. I guess the present can wait...' You thought silently as you ran to the designated place, the mall. I guess it's good that you suggested that place since you could buy him a present secretly there.
Small time skip~
"(Name)-chan~ you're late!" Karma shouted once he saw you running towards him.
"Sorry!"
"Nope! I'm not gonna forgive you because today's my birthday! I call the shots today," he said smugly, obviously plotting something.
"Then... What should I do?"
"Buy me anything and everything I want. Like seriously everything~ "
"Fine..." You sighed before looking at him. "So where do you wanna go?"
"Hmm~ where's my prensent~" shit. You immediately turned pale before looking away.
"Uhm... I left it... A-at home?..." You stuttered out.
"Then let's go back and get it~!" He said cheerfully.
"Wait karma no--" He didn't even give you a chance to explain and just went to your house. "So, where is it?" He asked after reaching your house so you had to spill out the truth. "Knew it~ so, what should we do here?~"
'damn, he knew it? That liar!' You just shrugged with an uncomfortable look, wondering why he wants to come here even after knowing you were lying about leaving the present at home.
"Then, I have an idea! My present, be my girlfriend, (name)-chan~!" He 'suggested', obviously elated.
"...WHY!?" your face immediately flushed bright red. Why? Why you? Was it just a joke? You have no idea. What if he was just kidding...
"Well, 'cuz I like you! You have no choice (name)-chan~" he immediately left a quick kiss on your cheek after answering your question.
"F-fine..." You said, once again looking down, from embarrassment. You couldn't look at him straight in the eyes after that sudden confession but you knew you liked him too. Perfect.
"Thanks (name)-chan, best birthday present~... But where's my Christmas present?"
"Go away karma" you facepalmed at how much he wanted presents.
