Lauren quietly walked over to Camila's bunk, not knowing if she was sleeping or not. She moved the curtain slightly and furrowed her eyebrows when the bunk was empty. The 3 other girls were in their bunks sleeping.

It's been a few days since Lauren confronted Camila about her throwing her food away. The small girl didn't take it well, she was angry with herself for not covering the food up. Camila started distancing herself again.

Lauren walked over to the bathroom and noticed the light on. She turned the doorknob slightly and gently pulled the door open. Camila was on the other side of the door. The small girl jumped, startled at Lauren's presence. The green eyed girl heard metal shatter against the floor and frowned, knowing exactly what it was. She looked at Camila who had one sleeve rolled up and a panicked look on her face, she looked like she was going to shatter as well.

The small girl jumped up and attempted to grab the blade. Lauren grabbed the small girl and held her tightly so she couldn't get the shiny, silver metal.

"No Lauren! I need it!" Camila cried while trying to kick herself out of Lauren's tight grip. She slipped out of her arms and grabbed the metal.

"Camila. Camz. Please!" Lauren begged. She grabbed ahold of camila with one arm and tried to get the blade with the other. Camila kicked off the bathroom sink in attempt to get Lauren to fall backwards, but only succeeded in making a loud noise instead.

"Lauren please!" Camila let out in between sobs.

"I am not going to let you hurt yourself Camz! No!" Lauren felt tears threaten to spill over. She hated seeing Camila in this state. She was so focused on hurting herself. She didn't care about anything else. It didn't seem like Camila. It seemed like someone replaced her with a person who had cold eyes, cold skin, and a cold heart.

"Fuck off Lauren! Fuck you! I need to. I need to L-Lauren." Camila's fist pounded against Lauren's chest. Lauren noticed a drop of blood hit the floor and started to panic.

"Lauren!" She tried again in a weak voice. Her voice was raspy and she sounded so broken. Camila gave up her struggle and released a sob before her breathing quickened.

Lauren sat down against the bathroom wall, across from the doorway. Camila laid on top of her resting her head backwards while staring at the ceiling.
Lauren lightly played with Camila's hair.
Lauren pried Camila's hand open and grabbed the blade. She slipped it in her back pocket. She observed Camila's hand and saw there was cuts from the tight grip the small girl had on the blade.

Lauren rolled Camila's sleeve up to reveal fresh cuts lining her arm. Some were still bleeding, making a mess on Camila's long sleeve shirt. Lauren immediately stood up and grabbed a wash cloth, applying pressure on the wounds.

Camila's mood suddenly changed and she shot up from her position.

"Fuck you Lauren." Camila stated in an aggressive tone. Camila started towards the front door of the bus but Lauren grabbed her wrist to stop her. The small girl flinched away and clutched her arm in pain.
