Camila shot up from her spot on the hospital bed beside Lauren. Her heart was racing, she was sweating even though she was freezing, and her breathing was labored. Damn nightmare.

She placed her hand over her heart and relaxed herself, realizing it was only a dream. She observed the room around her. It was pitch black, meaning it must have been around 3 in the morning. A hand was suddenly interlaced with hers, startling her.

"Are you okay?" Lauren's voice was raspy and she sounded tired. Camila immediately felt guilty about waking her girlfriend up.

"Just had a bad dream that's all." The smaller girl reassured.

"Do you want to talk about it?" The green eyed girl questioned.

"No, it's okay Laur." Camila couldn't see her girlfriend's face but she could tell that there was worry plastered all over it. "Just promise me one thing?"

"Of course baby."

"Catch me when I fall, okay?"

"Okay." Lauren promised, catching onto the younger girl's hidden meaning. She would always be there for Camila if she slipped up or relapsed. That was a given.

"Can we go back to sleep?" Camila questioned, her body finally relaxing and pulling her into sleep.

Lauren wanted nothing more then to cuddle her girlfriend. Especially when she needed cuddles the most. But she physically couldn't move without hurting herself. And also she didn't mind the pain, it was her health that worried her. She was scared that if she made one wrong move she could damage her lungs beneath her ripcage. Though, that was highly unlikely.

Lauren kept their hands interlaced in between them.

Camila closed her eyes but couldn't seem to keep them shut. She couldn't forget about the stupid dream. It felt so real. In her dream, she had relapsed. Lauren had gotten too tired to deal with the stress and so she left Camila. That's why she had been so adamant about her girlfriend catching her if she ever fell.

"Camila, I know you're still up, please talk to me." The older girl spoke softly.

"Just stressing about something stupid."

"Listen to me, it's okay to be afraid. I'm sure it's not stupid baby, please tell me." Her girlfriend continued. Although Camila couldn't see Lauren's face, the green eyed girl ran her thumb comfortingly over the bone that jutted out of the smaller girl's wrist. The innocent touched relaxed the younger girl.

"It's gonna sound dumb. I'm going to sound like a literal child." Camila chuckled. "I had a dream that I relapsed and it just got too much for you, so you left me."

"That's a silly thing to worry about babygirl. You know I would never leave you. I promise. No matter how hard things get, I will always be right by your side okay?" Her voice was extremely comforting and relaxed all her anxieties.

"Thank you."

"Now come here." Lauren's hand tugged at her slightly, pulling the smaller girl closer.
