It was 10:00 pm, but Millie did not yet want to sleep, so she read the rest of her script. She merely scanned it and didn't really bother memorizing it.

"Long Distance" was based off a book written by one of her favorite authors. Although a lot of people called it cliche, Millie really liked the plot.

She was so intrested in it that she lost track of time and didn't realize that it was already 10:40 pm until her phone beeped. It was a text message. She opened it, expecting it to be Finn. So she was quite shocked when she saw that it was Noah texting her.

Noah: Hi

It read.

Noah: I know it's late but I just suddenly missed you guys

She smiled.

Millie: I miss the cast too :(( Aren't you working on a new project?

Noah: Yeah but I don't like it here to be honest

Millie: Why?

Noah: Some people here are rude

Millie: OMG SAME!

Noah: Hahaha

Millie: So where are you shooting

Noah: California

Millie: Cool

Noah: Hahaha so where are you shooting?

Millie: LA

Noah: I heard Finn's there too right?

Millie: Yeah. He's my only friend here

Noah: aw </3

They chatted about random things until Millie started getting really tired. Her eyes were hurting a little and her body was weak.

Millie: Bye Gotta sleep

She realized that it was already 11:40 as she lied down and went to bed. She got so carried away with her conversation with Noah that she didn't notice how late it was and completely forgot about her shoot at 8 am the next day.

"Alright move your hand to the right a little," the photographer instructed. She did as she was told and the shot was taken. "Alright perfect you can take a break."

She walked towards a round table and sat on a chair. She was feeling ver dizzy with all the lights and the lack of sleep she got. She took a bottle of water as her manager, Todd, went to her.

"After this we go to lunch?" He asked. "Actually, I don't think I can. I feel really dizzy." Millie felt like vomiting would help ease the pain.

"Oh no. You can't get sick. Here, eat this candy, maybe you're just tired." He handed her a small candy. She ate it and felt somewhat recharged but not entirely.

She went home for lunch and her condition worsened. Her mom took care of her. "There's no way you can go to the shoot later. We'll have to cancel it." Millie was so stunned at what she heard.

"What?! But mom," before she could protest, she was cut off. "I know you really enjoy shooting this but your health is more important than anything. Your condition will only get worse if you go. You have no choice but to stay here." She said firmly.

Millie did not complain, but she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. She always wanted to be productive and working. When she didn't do anything for a day, she would feel very guilty even though she was not at fault.

Today wasn't the best for Millie. She felt like hell but she felt even worse that she had to stay home the whole day. But this is what she gets for working all day and sleeping late, then having to wake up early the next day to work again.

AN: Hii. SO this chapter was short but I have plans for the next chapter so bear with me :) I will try to make the next one long
