Millie took the meds that the doctor told her to drink. After that, she lied down on her bed, very bored. She felt guiltier after each second where she was not productive passed.
She was feeling better now, and badly wanted to go on set. She texted everyone she knew: Finn, Noah, and most of the cast members of Stranger Things. All of them were doing something and couldn't reply to her text.
She was lying in bed the whole day, until around 6:30 pm, where she got a text. It was from Finn.
Finn: Hey. Why weren't you on set today?
Millie: Felt very dizzy this morning
Finn: Oh, what could've happened?
Millie: The doctor said that I was working too much so I had to lie in bed the whole day
Finn: Get well soon Millie :)
Millie: Yeah I'm probably going on set tomorrow. Whole day of shooting tomorrow right?
Finn: Yep. Don't work yourself to death :) You need to take breaks too you know
Millie: Yes dad. HAahaha
Finn: I'm just worried about you hahaha. Okay bye, just keep resting
She smiled and turned off her phone. She continued to read the script and memorized her lines. There were many notes written on sticky notes and pasted on the margins.
She was shocked that as she went through the first half of the script, there was a note on the margin. It read: "shoot in California". She was so excited, because Noah would be there. The three of them, including Finn, would be able to reunite!
She was ecstatic to know this. She immediately texted Noah about this.
Millie: NOAH WE'RE SHOOTING IN CALIFORNIA THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT
Noah: SERIOUSLY THATS SO COOL! Finn's coming too right??
Millie: Actually I'm not sure let me check
She scanned the script and saw that towards the end, there was a scene that required both of them to be in California.
Millie: YES HE'S GONNA BE THERE I THINK
Noah: When are you shooting here?
Millie: I'm not sure I'm gonna ask tomorrow
Noah: Okay. Gtg Millie
Millie: Okay bye
She then texted Finn.
Millie: FINN WHERE ARE YOU I HAVE NEWS
Finn: yeah?
Millie: WE'RE SHOOTING IN CALIFORNIA AND NOAH'S THERE
Finn: REALLY THATS NICE
Millie: But I'm not sure when though. And I still need to ask my parents if I can go, alone
Finn: Oki
Millie went to their living room where her parents and Ava, her younger sister, were talking. As she walked closer to them, she cleared her throat. Her mother looked at her immediately and smiled.
"Ava why don't you go outside and get some ice cream with Daddy?" The little girl looked up at her mother. "Okay mommy. Let's go Daddy." She took his hand and dragged him outside.
Millie sat on the chair that Ava just left. "So.. I have news.." She said, smiling in her excitement. "And that is?"
"We'll be shooting some scenes in California!!" She whisper-yelled. Her mother was taken aback by this. "Really??? That's nice!" She said.
Now Millie prepared for the part she feared the most. Her mother has always been overprotective of her, so she knew that asking her this would be a long shot.
"Actually mom.. I was wondering.. could I go alone?" She asked. Her mom was processing what she just heard. "Alone? Honey.."
"Mom I promise I won't do anything that will harm me. I'm fourteen already so.. please?" She pleaded. Her mother sighed. "We'll talk about it." She walked towards her. "Help me set up the table please. Let's have dinner."

Millie went to the set the next day and the first thing she saw was Finn. "Oh hey you're back. Are you okay now?" He asked. "Mhmm.." was all she said.
"By the way, I asked the director already about California and he said we might leave in three weeks if we finish early." Finn said.
"Oh okay. Well my parents said they'd think about it if I could go alone." She said. "Mine said it would be okay. By the way, I made a friend yesterday. C'mon I'll introduce you." He said.
They walked to the room where all the costumes were. "Daniel? Daniel where are you?" Finn whispered. "Yoow, I'm here." He said, and a boy just appeared out of nowhere.
"Eieek!" Millie yelled, stunned by the fact that he suddenly appeared behind her. "Sorry." Daniel said. "Millie, meet Daniel. Daniel, Millie." Finn said.
"Hi. Big fan." Daniel said, as they shook hands. "Oh hi. I've seen you around on the first day I think." Millie said. "Yeah I was there. I play Kevin's best friend." He said.
"Oh okay. Well bye Finn, bye Daniel. Need to go get my hair and make up done." Millie said as the three of them walked out of the room.
"Ey she's pretty. Do you like her?" Daniel said as Millie was far enough. "What oh Millie's just a friend."
Daniel smirked. "Ya sure?" He said, nudging Finn's arm. "Yes I'm sure." He chuckled and they both walked to the bench as they waited for the cast members to meet.
