"Cut! That was perfect." Phil said, watching the footage again. They snapped back to reality. Millie looked away, while blushing profusely.
"Okay, Linda and Millie, come here now." Linda went out the van and Finn went back. There, smiling, was Daniel. "Hey looks like someone enjoyed that." Finn smiled, "Shut up," he said, while pushing him playfully.
He was perfectly fine, in fact, he was better than fine. He was happy and contented. That was until, the ring of his phone snapped him back to reality once more. "Hang on," Finn said, while reaching for his phone and going outside, behind the van.
"Hello? Mom?" He said. "Honey, I have updates on the acting job in Asia." She said. Just the thought of it ruined his mood. "Right now, mom? Can't it wait?" He said, eager to ignore the topic. "Sorry honey, but it's very urgent." He sighed. "Okay then. What is it?"
"Well if you audition and you get the role, it's shot in Asia for a year." A year???? "What?! You don't expect me to take it do you??" He said.
"Finn, please think about it." His mother said, and the tone alone made him feel guilty. "I'll think about it." He said, and he hung up.
He went back to the van and Daniel, Millie and Linda were there. "They're packing up and we're going somewhere else." Linda said. He nodded and sat down somewhere.
Millie sat beside him. "What was that about?" She asked. He debated whether or not to tell her. "Nothing.. it's no big deal." He said. This didn't reassure Millie in any way, but she just let it be.
- next day -
It was a free day for them today. They could do anything they wished and they would shoot again tomorrow.
Overnight, Finn thought about the offer. He didn't want to audition, he didn't even want to try. Where the auditions were held was close to where they stayed, and his agent even emailed him the lines.
It was very short, and since his mother encouraged him to try, he's spent the entire morning practicing. He would audition in the afternoon. When he practiced, he couldn't even focus on the lines. He kept messing up things. He thought that if he did get accepted, he would have to leave for a very long time. But if he didn't even try, his mother would be disappointed. He sighed and focused once again.

Finn finished the audition. He thought he did really well on it. He bought a smoothie and went back to the hotel. He walked towards the front of his room, and in front of Millie and Linda's, he saw, "Noah!" He said. Noah turned and saw him. "Oh hey Finn! Well you're just in time, we were about to go to the amusement park." Noah said. "With who, exactly?" He asked. "Millie and Linda and Daniel. I just met them a while ago. We were just waiting for you." He said.
"Oh okay then. I'll just, get something in my room." He said. He went in and as he shut the door, he groaned loudly. "Anything wrong?" Daniel asked, reading a magazine that was on their table. "I just auditioned for something I didn't want to audition for, I'm going to ASIA if they accept me, and now, Noah's here!" He said, lying down on his bed in frustration.
"Ooohh, that Noah who Millie was texting?" Finn nodded. "He seems like a nice guy to be honest." He said. "Yeah I know. We were even very close when we shot Stranger Things. But he just.. ugh it's hard to explain." He said.
"Don't worry, I understand what you're trying to say. But hey, we can't not go. C'mon, they're already expecting us. You can vent out all you want later." Daniel said gently. Finn grabbed his wallet and his phone, put it in a small man purse and they headed out.
"Great, we can go now." Millie said. The amusement park they were going to was only walking distance. Millie led the way and soon, they arrived.
"Line up here for tickets!" A short, blonde lady told them. They did as they were told. They decided that Millie would only pay one bill and they would pay her later.
"What should we do first?" Noah said, looking at the list of rides. They planned the rides and activities that they would do. First, they would do the bumper cars, followed by the free fall, the rapids, the ferris wheel, and finally, the roller coaster.
At the bumper cars, Noah would constantly bump Millie. This kind of annoyed Finn and he tried bumping him hard, but as he turned to hit him, a little girl and her cousin turned and he hit them instead.
Then, at the free fall, they sat all together. By order, it went: Daniel, Noah, Millie, Finn and Linda. Before the seats formed into a circle went up, Millie was frightened. She held on tightly to Noah and Finn's hand. Linda would do the same to the handles of her seat.
"You'll be okay.." Noah said reassuringly. Slowly, their seats ascended. They could see the ferris wheel many feet away and looking down, they could see the carousel and a few other rides. They went higher, and higher, and unexpectedly, they started to descend. Millie help the handles of her seat and screamed at the top of her lungs. So did Linda. Then they started going up again, and it repeated. Through many screams, they finally finished the ride.
They lined up for the rapids after. It was kind of a long line, but soon, they got onto the circular boat. They flowed through the water, and it slowly started to speed up, until there was part of the ride where they had to go down, and it was very steep. Gravity started to push them down, and water splashed everywhere. There were a few more ups and downs, a lot of yells, and water.
After that, they went to the ferris wheel. There were only three seats per cabin, so Noah, Millie and Finn went on one and Daniel and Linda went on the other. As they reached the highest point, they took a picture of the view. You could see the overview of the entire park.
And lastly, the rollercoaster. Eventually, most of them chickened out, and only Noah, Finn and surprisingly, Millie were brave enough to try. As they lined up, Noah started to sweat and Finn got cold fingers. Millie gulped. They stared at the massive structure full of loops and turns and steep ups and downs.
As the employee buckled them up, they held on tightly to the bars in front of them. "Ride sgarts in 3.. 2.. 1.." They first went up very slowly, and it was okay, until the ride started to speed down and gracity pushed them faster down. "Ahh!!!" Majority of the people in the ride yelled. Then they went around a loop, and a few sharp turns.
When they finished, Daniel and Linda cheered. They felt like throwing up, but it was okay, and they were finally able to conquer the big one.
Finn was happy towards the end of the day. He did admit to himself that even though the day started of not too well, and even though Noah came along, he enjoyed. And Millie, was slowly learning how to take a chance.
