After shooting that day, Finn walked into Millie's room, catching her by surprise. They were alone in that room. No Linda, no Daniel, just them.

"Hey," Finn said, slowly sitting down beside Millie. She looked down, avoiding his gaze, though she felt as if he was watching her intently.

"Hi Finn." Millie said casually, finally daring to look at him. He looked very tired, and she didn't know why. She didn't know that he stayed up all night, trying to think of what to tell her. Trying to make the proper script. But even after thinking about it for so long, Finn still didn't know what to say.

A long silence fell between them, both of them thinking. Finally, Finn cleared his throat, gathering up the courage to say it. "I love you Millie." He said it, he had finally said it. And now that he had started, there was no way for him to stop.

"I've loved you since Day 1 of shooting Long Distance. And I've always tried to tell you but.." he stopped, not knowing what to say next.

Millie heard the words he was saying, but she was unable to process everything. He loved her. He loved her.

She took a deep breath, trying not to cry. "Finn, I do too. But I know that you'll leave soon and I.." she started, and every passing second made it harder for her not to start tearing up.

"I'll never be strong enough to have a long distance relationship." She finally said it, the words that pained her. She stood up quickly and turned away from him, hiding her tears.

She sobbed, taking shaky breaths. Finn stood up as well, placing his hands on her shoulder, forcing her to look at him.

"Millie, I know you're scared. I know long distance is new to both of us, but can't we try?" Finn said, starting to tear up as well. But he held them back. He hated it when people saw his soft side.

"I-" Millie said, but she had a hard time continuing, for she was already overcome by her sobs.

Another silence. Another moment where both of them were just thinking. "What about Alice and Kevin, Millie? What about all those who have survived going long distance?" Finn said, holding her shoukders firmly.

"But Finn. I'm not Alice. I can never be Alice. I'll never be able to handle it." She said, trying to stop crying.

Finn frowned. "Can't we try?" His voice was shaky. He was nearly reaching his limit. Once he was past it, he would cry.

Millie wiped her eyes. "I'll think about it. But for now, I just want to be alone." She said. Finn understood her, and slowly let go of her. He reluctantly turned around and closed the door.
