What happened?

A sharp pain zipped through my forehead as I attempted to lift myself up. Putting my palm to my temple, I searched around for Doctor Clauson. He was no where to be found. In front of me, however, still laid the woman I carried here, Teresa, still strapped down to the platform. I looked over at the computer to notice cryptic messaging going on. The computer was decoding something. The question now was what is it?

I scanned around the room.

Where is Doctor Clauson?

I walked around quietly, searching for any trace of Doctor Clauson. I sniffed the air to try and pick up his scent. Nothing. Wait. That is it. I noticed something dripping down from the ceiling onto the floor. A gooey green and brown substance, sticky with a rancid odor. I walked closer to it to notice that a cocoon like structure was planted firmly in the corner of the ceiling above me. I noticed a two objects poking out from the cocoon. It was Doctor Clauson's eyes. They were closed shut.

But for how long?

Now was the time to make haste. I walked over to try and read the face of the computer.

Oh no

According to the analysis I was reading on the computer, Doctor Clauson had inserted his seminal fluid into Teresa's body, causing her embryo's DNA structure and the chromosone's to drastically start changing. This made things even worse then I had imagined. Quick thinking was in order. Something had to be done. I could not let this unborn child grow into being Doctor Clauson's offspring. I had to make a decision that would change the course of not only my life, but the life of so many others as well. I had no clue what Enan would become had it been trained and nurtured throughout a lifespan.

Now was the time to put that to the test. I did not have a choice. It was either allow Doctor Clauson's offspring to grow into what he wants it to become, more then likely a weapon of destruction, or what he would call it, another test of advancement for mankind. Or something like that. I went to grab a test tube and made my way into the restroom.

After I had finished what I needed to do, I went to work on transferring my seminal fluid into Teresa's body, in an attempt to coat over Doctor Clauson's. Hopefully it would be a success. I started to type on the computer, using what knowledge many years of schooling and personal training served me as a tool to try and override Doctor Clauson's fluid transfer. If I could somehow reverse the process and eliminate what has been done so far, maybe I could mold the embryo into my favor. It was possible I could change the DNA structure into favoring my own, to accompany my seminal fluid. The computer began to calculate and search through all the possible combinations and possibilities.

MATCH COMPLETE

BEGIN TRANSFER PROCESS

I knew the hum of the machines would more then likely make more noise then I needed them to. The last thing I needed was for William to wake up from his sleep and emerge from his cocoon. What ever he was doing in there, it was buying me the time I needed. I manually grabbed the tools and equipment necessary for the transfer process and inserted them into Teresa's body. I started the process, and sat back patiently, watching the computer screen to make sure everything went about smoothly. I began to think about what this would do for the world. For mankind. A child who would mature with Enan brewing inside of them, crafting it into their own. A child that could freely grow into something different then everyone around them. This child is truly the beginning of something great.

My child.

The process was complete. A bright smile lit across my face. A heavy load was lifted off of my shoulders, as I dropped down into the chair behind me. I had prevailed. No time to relax, Adrian. On to the next. What to do about her. Somehow, this all had to be explained. Teresa is definitely still alive thanks to Enan's sustaining powers. The embryo inside is healthy and continue to grow for the next 9 months.
