February 2, 2033

It has been 10 years since that day. 10 years since he heard those words.

Now, Young Lance had grown into a strong 19 year old man.

Strong. Smart. Calculated.

Dangerous.

Lance found himself alone at times. Separated from the others at The Academy at a young age. He had spent the last 10 years being molded into the perfect killing machine. Bread to do the services of the militia he had sworn service to years earlier. His allegiance, his devotion, was all to their vision. He grew to hold value to the same vision. Entrusting in it. Living by it, its principles. As harsh as some outside of the government might have felt, he personally believed in the system created by the ASSR.

It was all he knew.

The piping hot water busted out of the shower head on top of him. His training for the day had come to a decent conclusion. As usual, he had wiped out every single one of his obstacles. Passed every single one of his test, with flying colors at that.

As the water splashed all over, his thoughts played the same in his mind. He dreamed of one day being on the front lines. Going head to head with the enemy. Infiltrating the enemies protective shell, and laying waste to every single being that may be against the ASSR. That is just how he was raised. How he was, in a sense, brainwashed, if you left it up to some. He heard the speakings of others amongst The Academy. How he was different, a freak. Lance resented those words. Personally, he felt blessed, privileged to be what he was.

To this day, that was still a mystery. There were very few of them, to his knowledge. Very few of people like him. He tried not to think of why The ASSR and their subdivision, S.O.R.A., whom which he personally worked under, hunted these people down. It was as if, they only wanted him to be the only living of his kind left.

He had been devoid and drained of many emotions, but sometimes, the words of those around him struck a cord. Being called inhuman made him feel more distant towards the people around that looked no different than he. He instantly waved those thoughts to the side. He had work to do. He found himself in the locker room, pulling out his gear, lacing and buttoning himself in his uniform, awaiting for the call from his most valued friend and long time instructor.

Val Ashlei.

He saw Val as the father he never really had. Being orphaned at the age of 4 and moved to The Academy, things were different from him. Probably why it was so easy for him to shut out alot of the normal emotions that his fellow peers would themselves fall victim to. Suited and ready, he walked out towards the control room, where Admiral Ashlei awaited him.

"Lance my good boy. You are exactly the man I need right now. More then anything, I need your help." he said

"I'm at your command, Sir. What is my mission?" Lance replied confidently.

Admiral Ashlei smiled with assurance. He placed both his hands on Lance's strong shoulders, and place a kissed on his forehead. Lance did not exactly understand the gesture, unless it was to bless him for his next mission.

"You, my son, have the most important task that any one in this Organization could ever be asked to do." he said.

Lance stood firm, ready and eager for the details of his mission to be brought forth. He called on his years of training to bring him discipline. He began to calm, opening his mind as he meditated on the possible intensity of the coming mission ahead of him. Admiral Ashlei finally began to speak again.

"You are to hunt down and eliminate the one known as Mirise'Deajohaah. Under no circumstances are you to leave him alive. Bring his corpse here to us for further examination and study." he explained.

"This WILL be your most trying and difficult mission to date" he continued. "He is extremely dangerous, and is an enemy of The ASSR. It is of utmost importance that you complete your mission."

Lance stood completely still, his breathing still steady. That name had a great meaning to him.He now knew his task. His mission. He had focus. He had strength. He would study the Intel on the Mirise'Deajohaah. Lance knew exactly the severity of the task at hand before him. He had studied the legend. He knew of the stories and whispers amongst many of the myth. Obviously, S.O.R.A. believed the stories to be true, so much that HE, their most dangerous and important asset, be sent to take it off this planet.

This mission was personal.

It was personal because what the meaning of The Mirise'Deajohaah meant.

"Savior to those who Believe"

Anyone who challenged his power was a threat. But this threat was different. This one meant more.

For one reason, and one reason only.

They both have very similar beginnings, but only One is the Original
