Sleep

~ Sorry everyone I know my writing sux sooooooo don't expect much anymore :( ~

Light stared at the screen in front of him feeling his eyelids become more and more heavy with each minute that passed. If it were up to him he would be in bed at his house right now but this Task Force center would be his home for. Well he didn't really know how long seeing as L never really got down to 0% on anything. L looked over to him and saw that he was having trouble staying awake. Or at least that's what Light hope he saw.

    " Light-kun would you like to go to sleep?" L asked looking at him. Those words were like music to Light's ears. " Yes L, I really do need to get sleep. Unlike you I need sleep to function ". L nodded at this remark and stood up from his seat and turned of the computer in front of him. Light was happy by this action. Maybe it meant L would finally get some rest.

    That moment of happiness for L was crushed as he watched L take his laptop under his arm and a lollipop in his free hand. " Ryuzaki are you ever going to sleep " Light asked as he got up from his chair. " I don't need sleep Light, sleep takes valuable time I could be finding Kira "

    " Ryuzaki how do you even function anymore?" Light asked shocked by the man's response. " Why do you think I eat so much sugar Light-kun. A tired mind needs sugar " L said as if it was completely normal. Light sighed at the strange man before chuckling at how strange L really was. " L lets just go to bed please " Light sighed feeling his eyelids become heavier.

    L sighed and tugged on the chain " come Light-kun before you fall over ". The light tug on the chain brought Light back to his senses. He looked up to see the always emotionless face. " lets just go " Light sighed as he began walking but he didn't know where to.  " Light-kun I believe i have yet to show you our room. " said the monotone voice of L. Light tiredly looked over to L and slightly nodded.

    L tugged on the chain indicating he wanted Light to follow him. Light did as he was motioned and followed the slouched figure of L through a dark hallway and bumped into him as he stopped suddenly. L made a slight oof as he fell to the ground pulling Light with him. Light sat up immediately " L im so sorry, its just im so..... " Light started before being cut of the by the light sound of chuckling. He looked down to see a smile on L's face.

    Light just stared at the smile on L's face, having never seen the man show any kind of emotion. He looked at the light in L's eyes and how beautiful his eyes were. How his pale skin looked so soft and how velvety his hair might feel. He snapped out of his mind as he felt his cheeks heat up.  L seemed to notice this as Light swore he saw a light pink spread across his pale cheeks. L looked away as did Light before slowly getting back up. Light still felt his cheeks heated so he made sure to look away from L as he stood.

    L opened the door to a grey room with a bed and two nightstand on either side of said bed. Just looking at the bed made Light feel much more tired than he had felt moments before. His limbs felt like a huge burden that he hadn't known he had been carrying.  He put a hand to the door frame, balancing himself on it. " Is Light-kun really that tired? " L questioned out loud. " Yes Light-kun really is this tires so can we just go to bed?" Light retaliated, a bit of annoyance lacing his words.

    L noded and began to walk into the room " your clothes have been moved in here " L said before in chaining them so they could change. This suprised Light as he didn't know L had the key to the handcuffs or that he would even take them off for that matter. " L how do you know that i won't just run. " " Well first of Light-kun you would be able to get far considering I'm standing right here, and second of all that would just raise the percent of you being Kira. "  L said with his back turned to him.

    Light just sighed and slowly took his shirt, nervous as he had never been naked or even half naked in front of someone else before, especially not a guy.  As he took of his shirt he noticed L had done the same. L's chest was nothing like Light had expected, it was paler than he thought and it was strangely toned and semi muscular. He was more muscular than that but he was still surprised by L's body.

    L turned his head slightly and caught Lights eyes on his chest. Light saw L's eyes on his and looked away quickly a light pink blush moving its way across his cheeks. " Light-kun is everything alright " L asked moving closer to Light as he spoke. " yea yea everythings fine " Light said but with a small stutter to his words.

    L wasn't so easily swayed by this and put his hand on Lights shoulder. " Light-kun what's wrong? You know you can tell me " L said his voice on the line of a plead. At the sound of the innocence in L's voice Light could feel his cheeks get hotter. " Don't look at me right now L " Light practically begged. But the detective was not so easily deterred by Lights petty excuse

    "Light-kun just tell me what's wrong, please I just want to help. " L said his grip on Lights shoulder tightening. Light felt L's hand on his shoulder and the heat in his cheeks intensified. " Could you please just put a shirt on L, its uncomfortable to look at " " What do you mean Light-kun? Oh does Light-kun not like looking at my chest? " L said smirking slightly

" Yes L i really don't and that doesn't mean I'm gay " Light retaliated not having to look at the detective to know he found this quite amusing. " I never said you were gay Light-kun, but since you brought it up ".

    Confused by L comment Light turned around only to have L wrap his arms around him. L pressed his head against Lights bare chest. He could feels L's soft hair brushing against his bare chest and that only heated his cheeks yet again. " L w-what are y-you doing " Light asked cursing himself internally for stuttering, showing that this affected him. " I'm showing you affection, is that not what I should be doing or are you rejecting my feelings?"

    " L you - you have feelings for me?" Light gasped trying to hold in the ever growing feeling of happiness. " I thought that was fairly obvious Light-kun "
