Nightmares pull us apart

~ OMG I'm so sorry my Fluffy Minions. I've been dealing with a lot of stuff as of the moment and I haven't been able to find the time to update my story. So here is a new update. Finally. I feel so bad about not updating in like forever and tbh I never thought anyone would actually look at my excuse of a fanfiction. I can't thank you guys enough for all the support and I'm open to suggestions for plot in the comments. I'm also working on another Fanfic called Save me, I beg of you, which should be coming out soon. It's still Lawlight but it is a bit darker.  Ok I'll shut up now and let you read the chapter ~ 

 " I thought that was fairly obvious Light-kun " L sighed into Lights neck, feeling the younger man shudder beneath him. L suddenly felt a hand against the back of his head and Light pull him closer. " So is that a yes?" L whispered, looking up at Light.

" Could you close that cute mouth of yours for a minute " Light whispered. L felt a smooth finger place itself under his chin, tilting his head ever so slightly. He was confused by this action of " What do you- " Was all L got out of his mouth before he was silenced by a pair of lips against his. It was soft, sweet, and quick. And over in a instant

Light smirked, amused as L's cheeks turned a light pink. " Light-kun don't you want to sleep? " L asked as Light swayed a little on his feet. " Yea just let me change " Light sighs wondering where the L he just kissed went.

L helped Light wrangle his shoes, pants and socks of, leaving Light in nothing but his underwear. L tired not to stare at Lights muscles as he helped him to the bed. He slowly helped Light lay down on the soft mattress of their bed. He then took of his pants and moved to the other side of the bed, but not before reattaching the handcuffs.

He felt cold, and empty. His eyes flicked up to the now asleep Light beside him. He wished he could have Light wrap his arms around him and whisper sweet things into his ear.

L shook himself from this fantasy. Light was the main suspect of Kira for god sake. He would have to ignore these feelings, they were clouding his judgement. But that kiss had felt so right, so long awaited.

L took a deep breath and did something he never thought he would ever do. He slowly moved his arms around Light's sleeping torso. L's cheeks felt like they were on fire as his arms rested around the sleeping body of Light Yagami. " What the hell am I doing?!? " He questioned in his mind.

He, the three smartest detectives in the world, was laying here practically cuddling the main suspect of a mass murder case. L suddenly froze, ripped from his thoughts. It must have been his imagination. It had to be. L could have sworn he just felt Light move.....closer to him.

After a few moments L decided it was just his imagination playing tricks on him. It wasn't like Light was awake or anything. Was he?!?! L nuzzled his head in the crook of Lights neck, and slowly felt himself drifting of. As his eyes closed he swear he heard Light murmur " Goodnight L, I love you ".

L dreamt he was drowning in a sea of black, the shore miles away. He gasped and struggled against the dark depths of the ocean. He knew his legs were bound to the seafloor they always were. This was the same dream he always had, well nightmare to be more realistic.

No matter how hard he struggled against the chains that bound his legs they would never break. The water seemed to be pushing against him as he tried to keep his head afloat. It kept pulling him under, literally drowning him in his demons.

But the nightmare had changed, and for the worst. The shore was closer, but still out of reach, and it was usually empty. But now Light stood there, a gun pointed at his head. The person holding the gun wore a black suit and their face was to blurry to make out. But Light's wasn't.

His usually calm and stoic features were gone, replaced by pure terror. He looked like he was sobbing but L couldn't be sure. Light's eyes met his and he started shouting L's name, his real one. No code name or made up name, it was...his name. " LAWLIET SAVE ME.....PLEASE" He screamed, causing tears to sting L's already watery eyes as he thrashed against the water, trying desperately to get to Light. " I KNOW YOU CAN LAWLIET I BELIEVE IN Y...".

Light's angelic voice was cut of with the sickening sound of a gunshot. " NOOOO" L heard himself scream. He thrashed against the shackles as he watched the perfect body of Light Yagami fall to the ground.

He watched the mystery figure turn towards him, his face visible. L froze as a chill ran down his spine. He looked in horror as he recognized the face of Light's killer.

It was.....him. 

~ Twist ending. Bumm bumm bummmmm. Bet you didn't expect that. But I made them kiss, and soon maybe more. But I warn you I have never written a smut before and all my knowledge of the sexy times is from fanfiction. But I promise you my Fluffy Minions there will be smut..... Bye now ~
