I was lying on my bed staring at the ceiling as I blasted some Black Veil Brides. Just like any other day I was just thinking about… him. I can’t get those words out of my head, why did he have to say them?

Flashback

“Amanda! Wait!” I heard Craig’s voice yell after me, as I was about to board the train. I glanced at him as I held my luggage in front of me, he reached me out of breath but still able to talk. “Amanda…. You can’t leave…” I frowned, “I’m sorry Craig but I have too…” he frowned, I put my hand on his cheek, “don’t worry I’ll write you everyday, we’ll stay in touch, it will almost be like I never left” I said giving him a grin of hope, he grinned weakly, “but… you won’t be here physically… just… please don’t leave me…” he begged as he took the hand I had on his cheek and laced it with his, “I have too… my parents need me” he looked away tears starting to swell, “I understand…” then the train’s horn blew “last call! All aboard!” I head the engineer shout, Craig looked at me hurt his eyes pleading for me to stay, and “I have to go” he nodded, as we hugged each other tightly. I grabbed my luggage and walked onto the train, I sat in a window seat just so I can see him one last time. As the train started to move he ran with it until he had no more plateau to run on, I waved and he waved back but not before shouting “I love you Amanda!” that’s when the true pain struck me. He loved me. I loved him. And when we need each other most of all, we are torn apart, I never got to tell him I loved him… we could’ve been so much more.

Present Time

I sighed loudly, I hated remembering it just brought back pain but it also made you happy in a way. I heard that Craig had become big and left BlessTheFall and has joined one of my favorite bands Escape the Fate, I was a Ronnie fan he made ETF famous and its really not ETF without him. But when Ronnie got kicked out and in jail, Craig came and saved their asses, and his voice is still as amazing as ever, I’ll admit it he’s not as good as Ronnie but he is up there. Even though we told each other we would stay in contact but after he became big it just kind of stopped. Luckily today my parent’s were good and I can go about town and maybe party with a few close friends.

I called up my friends Shane and Adam. Shane had dark brown hair that was really edgy looking with stunning green eyes, his right arm had a full sleeve tattoos and he had a star on his neck. Adam had black shaggy hair with brilliant blue eyes his two arms had full-length tattoos and had my name on his left shoulder, we have been friends since like 2nd grade, I met Shane in my last year of high school but we got close.

They pull up to the house; I can hear them blasting some scream-o even though there 10 feet away and the windows are up, they were in their black and deep red Jeep. Adam rolled down the windowed and was beaming like an idiot. “LETS GO AMANDA!” I just grin and run towards the Jeep. My hair and makeup were perfect; I was wearing black skinny jeans with an Alesana t-shirt and of course with my high top converse. I rip open the door and crash into the backseat. “Let’s go!” I yell over the music pumping my fist in the hair. “FUCK YEAH!” they both said as we sped off.

We decided to go to the mall first to get at a sale they were having at Hot Topic, and apparently some big band was playing there. As we walked through the mall, being our dorky selves we linked arms and skipped singing “we’re off to see the Wizard! The wonderful Wizard of Oz!” as people gave us stares, we were used to it, and we like to be different. As we reached Hot Topic that was towards the end of the mall, we saw people crowding around; they must be obsessing over the band.

We walked out of the store out hands pretty much full, got some really good deals. “To the band?” Shane asked, “to the band!” I agreed as we walked away. Adam decided to take the stuff we bought and put in the car and meet up with us we there. As we approached the crowd, the music sounded vaguely familiar. I also heard the crowd shouting the bands name but I could barley understand a word they were saying. As Shane lifted me up on his shoulders to see the band, I think I went into shock.
