That weekend James and Aleks didn't hang out, but they did talk on the phone like no tomorrow. They found out a lot about each other. And James was getting slightly more comfortable with talking to Aleksandr. Yet, he was still having trouble grasping the fact his soul mate was, indeed, a male.

He still went on with life, though. And he continued to text Aleksandr on his bus ride into school. He figured he'd probably be texting him all day, since he dropped out of school.

And he did.

While at James' locker, none of his friends came to bother him or even ask how is soul mate is doing. He didn't know why, but he thought maybe at least they would care how his relationship is going with Aleksandr. Then it hit him.

How would he bring that up to his friends!?

Telling them his soul mate is a male would make him a complete joke. They would leave him, they wouldn't want to hang out with him ever again. He'd have to tell them all separately? Or maybe never tell them at all? He liked the second idea much better.

So, he went to class. And contiued to text Aleks, surprisingly, not getting caught.

Lunch time rolled around quicker than usual, probably because James was just talking to Aleks the whole time.

Would you maybe, want to come over again, today? ~Aleks

James bit his lip, swiftly sending a reply.

Sure. I'll come over after school.

He then, placed all of his supplies in his locker, and jogged to the cafeteria. There was still no sight of his friends when he came down the halls to the big open room. James pondered if he should wait for his friends, but instead went ahead into the lunch line, grabbing his food, and walking towards the familiar table. The familiar table that already had his friends gathered around it.

"Hey guys, I didn't see you at all today, where were you all?" James asked, sitting down in an open seat next to Jordan and Seamus.

They all exchanged looks before answering James. "We thought you wouldn't want to talk..." Steven answered.

James laughed slightly nervously. "Why wouldn't I want to talk?"

Everyone was silent, and just played with their food.

"Guys, come on, what's wrong?" James grew impatient, and finally Jordan spoke.

"We figured since you never saw your soul mate at prom, you'd be upset..."

James felt his heart drop. How was he going to explain this?!

"No. No, I did."

The boys all jumped in their seats. Questions swarming around James.

"What's she like?!"

"Is she pretty?!"

"Of course she'd be pretty, asshole! Is she our age?!"

"Does she go to school here!?"

"Where is she!?"

"GUYS." James yelled.

Everyone quieted down at James' bellowing voice.

"One at a time, god damn."

Dan asked first. "What her name!?"

James hesitated. I guess I could half lie? "Her name's Aleks. With a -ks. Aleksandria is her full name."

Seamus was second to ask. "Well, is she pretty?! Describe her!"

James sighed. How could he do this? "He- er, she, has long brown hair, and pale skin, and big brown eyes."

The boys oo'ed, and repeatedly asked questions about 'Aleksandria', and James hesitated every time, but answered, with a lie.

It didn't feel good, he admits it. To have to lie to his best of friends, just so he won't let them down. How will his father feel?! His father is probably shunning him.

And when that bell rung for James to leave to his other class, he gladly booked it. Still texting Aleks, all day.

On the bus ride, he got dropped off at his house, but immediately ran to Aleksandr's. He was quite excited to see Aleks again, he enjoyed talking to him, but he was still a little shy. The way Aleks was so, chill, about the encounter of his soul mate being a male was intimidating.

James reached the house, and took a minute to recollect his breaths. He knocked only a few times before the door opened.

"Well, hello, again." Aleks smiled, inviting James in, for a second time.
