Chapter 7: I Really Like You

James awoke that next morning on the couch, with Aleks curled into his chest. He couldn't tell if Aleksandr was still asleep or not, so he just pet his hair as he did last night. James enjoyed the soft, warmth Aleks held with him. It was soothing. And if James needed anything, it was soothing.

"I like it when you do that."

James heard the small voice. He chuckled ever so slightly. "When I rub your head? You like that?" James asked, gently caressing his hair and forehead.

He could of swore he heard Aleksandr mutter something else, but when he asked him to repeat, he just said nevermind. James shook it off, yet it still lingered in his mind.

"James?"

"Yes, Aleksandr?"

"I really like you."

James' breath hitched. He wasn't expecting anything like that at least for another few weeks to a month. He wasn't even sure if he felt the same about Aleks. He remained silent, panic going through his head, as Aleks slowly turned his head to face James. Aleks hadn't heard an answer and began to get scared himself. He scrambled off of James, looking in his eyes to try and find an answer.

"Oh, god, James. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

Aleks was cut off. Not by any words, or by James getting up and leaving, like he suspected. But James stopped Aleks by taking his right hand, placing it firmly, yet gently, upon the nape of Aleks' neck, so his thumb laid right in front of his ear, and pushed his lips to Aleks'.

Aleks was disconcerted, yet he smiled into the kiss, and kissed him back. James wasn't quite sure what he was doing, but he loved every second of the kiss. He could kiss Aleksandr for hours on end, and never get tired of the feeling.

There were no tongues, just slight head movement and leaning back and forth. Both boys were in pure bliss, and James knew what he had to say.

He pulled away, his eyes full of passion. "I really like you too, Aleksandr."

James' heart fluttered. He couldn't of been anymore right.
