After coming home from a long day at work I made my way into my bedroom to pack a bag. Ricky hadn't come around a lot for the rest of the week but he did send me a text yesterday saying he would pick me tonight. He had a lot of work to finish up and I had been working double shift the last few days. I had taken the weekend of work though and I was planning on spending it with Ricky. Hopefully it all goes well.

I'm not the biggest fan of being out in the middle of no where, which is why I live closer to the city, but I guess it can't be that bad if Ricky is with me. Just something about houses like that have always made me uncomfortable. I think it had something to do with how horror movies usually always use them for murder or ghost movies and both don't seem like an ideal situation to be in if I do say so myself.

Throwing the rest of my stuff into a bag I made my way over to the front door and set my bag at the wall by the front entrance. Turning around I saw my cat following behind me and I could tell he knew I was leaving him. I had set out enough food for him for the weekend but I knew he would miss me. Also I ask my neighbor Vinny to check in on him. He is one of the few people in my building that I semi get along with and trust enough to let into my house. I don't think he really had the intelligence anyways to do anything.

Bending down to be at my cats level I scratched behind his ear and he let out a small meow. "I'll be back before you know it. You be fine without me right?" I ask him in a soft voice.

I jump a small bit when I heard the front door open "You know cat's can't answer you back, right?" Ricky ask me as he walked through the door.

Without turning around I rolled my eyes in slight annoyance. For one he's scares me and then two he mocks me,  this weekend has just started out great and we haven't even left my house yet.  "I know that but it makes me feel better when I do talk to him." I snapped at him.

Bending down a bit more I kiss the top of his head before standing up and grabbing my bag. "Are we going to leave?" I ask him because from how he was standing he seemed to have no intention of moving anytime soon.

"Well don't I get a kiss?" He ask with a smirk and I let out a sigh, pretending I was annoyed before giving him a kiss. "There, now we can leave." He said smiling at me. Hopefully asking the choice to stay with him this weekend will all turn out to be a good thing.

________

We had been driving for a while now and it was surprising me. I knew he lived out in the middle of no where but I didn't think he meant this far away from everyone. This was a tad bit ridiculous to live out here in my opinion anyways.

All I had seen for a while was a long tree line to what appeared to be a small forest. It was quite beautiful but more in a way I would want to stay on a small vacation, not preeminently live here.I think I would go crazy. It has to get boring if you lived alone. It makes sense that Ricky wanted to spend so much time at my place.

Ricky placed his hand on my thigh and I jump as the motion as it pulled me out of my own head. I must of got so lost in my thoughts that I spaced out. "We're here." Ricky said and I saw that we were now in a gravel driveway.

The house was an upscale ranch with a cabin appearance to it. There was a porch that went around the whole bottom half of the house. There was trees around the outside of the it and they were almost hiding the whole house from the dirt rode that we drove up on.

We both got out of the car and made are way up to the house. I step behind Ricky as he unlocked the house by using a key and then typing in a pass code to get in the house. This was kind of strange for me to see but with it being in the middle of no where it would be the perfect place to rob. No one would see them and I know he has said before he has money so he there is defiantly somethings in there he would want to protect.

Pulling the door open he step aside and he let me walk in infront of him. Walking in I was met with a small front room that was painted a dark red and had a black bench again the wall. Kicking my shoes off next to where the other were located under the bench I step back letting Ricky do the same.

Taking a look around the room I saw there were two sets of stairs that next to each other. One led to what I guessed would be to the basement and the other set went to the upper half of the house. The two doorways were a lot different from each other well the one that led upstairs was open concept. the basement door was shut and locked. It made me a bit curious as to why it was. What was he hiding down there?

"What's down there?" I ask Ricky in a playful tone, pointing towards the door. I was hoping if I didn't ask him sounding serious about it he would be more welling to tell me.

He turned around and looked at me, following me gaze towards the basement door.  "Oh it's just storage down there. I tend to keep it lock in case anyone gets in. I have a few things worth value down there and it just makes me feel more secure about leaving them here when I'm gone." He told me with a shurg.

I nodded slowly letting him know I heard him. As curious I was about knowing what was down there I decide to drop the subject. I had a feeling he wasn't going to tell me anyways and I didn't want this to be something that ruin are weekend. It can't be anything that sad.
