Being at work the next day was driving me crazy. All I could hear everyone talking about was that red headed girl. You think things would of died down by now but it probably won't till they find the body. Which will just rile everyone up even more so I probably wont hear the end of this for a while now.

I have no clue where it was put but that Ryan guy must of done a good job at hiding it. On average it's been taking at least three days for a body to be found. I don't even want to think how much more hectic things are going to get by they do find her. I'm hoping they don't find anything till after I get transfer or get another job.

A girl came through the doors of the shop and a few of my co workers quickly walked over to her and gave her a hug. I didn't even think they could move that quickly. It makes sense when it comes to something like this because it get there lazy asses out of work. Not like they were doing anything before.

"I'm so sorry for you lose." I heard one of the girls say as they hugged her. The women that walked in had long metallic grey, lilac toned hair that came done to about her waist, she had a quite pale skin and she was quite small in both weight and height.

She let out a loud sniffle. I couldn't figure out of she was playing it up for attention or if she genuinely upset. "She was one of my best friends." She basically jump into the nearest persons arms. I rolled my eyes watching her.

"I know she is but none of us have heard anything and you'll be the first person we contact if we do. We told you that." A tall black haired girl said as he rubbed her back. I think her name was Christina but I could be wrong.

"Ya and I'm sure she alright. It's so frightening to think of though. The whole serial killer thing that has been going around recently hasn't worried me till now." The women said. Oh how wrong she is about about her turning up alright, they'll see that though. I couldn't help but snicker at the fact that she refer to the local murder case in a way that you would refer to a common cold.

My chuckle must of not of been as quiet as I intended it to be. They all turned around to look at me and the glare on the girls face who was friends with that red head seemed like she was plotting my murder.

"Do you think this is funny? Because I don't" She said as she slowly started to walk over to where I was behind the counter. I could tell by how she moved she was trying to intimated me but it was amusing for me to watch. I had to hold back my laughter but my lips turned into a slight grin that I quickly pulled away before they could notice. I feel like those action would look suspicious and I really didn't need more attention on myself.

"I mean the situation is tragic I wasn't laughing at that. I was just laughing at how self absorb you all kind of sound. You know by acting like all these people dying are similar to some illness that is floating around your work." I said to her, being honest.

She rolled her eyes. "And you cared about it a lot I'm guessing?" She ask in a snarky way, obviously challenging me.

"I actually was quiet concerned about it. Unlike how you seemed to be. I tend to pay close attention to what goes on around me." I said with a smile. That wasn't a lie I did pay attention to every case.

She scuffed at me when I said that. "Like it should of matter to your tranny looking ass anyways." She mumbled so only the two of us would hear. She knew if i went off at her for that it would make me look bad, not her. I really didn't need to draw any more attention to my anger problems so I held myself back, taking in a few deep breathes to compose myself.

She smiled at me before turning around. I guess she feel like she won our small argument. "I should be going but please tell me if you hear anything." She said before making her way to the door. There was a few "ya's" and "of course" said throughout the group standing by the door. I was thankful she leaving, I don't think I would of been able to hold myself back much longer.

As she was exiting out the door someone walked by her and my face lit up when I saw who it was. I rushed out from behind the counter and wrap my arms aroudn him, giving him a kiss.

He let out a chuckle when I pulled away. "Well it seems like someone missed me." Ricky said. He sounded so cocky when he said it that I couldn't help but playfully smack his arm from doing it.

"When do you get off work?" He ask and I glanced behind him to see the clock. I only had like ten minutes left of my shift, I guess I could leave now. I have been doing enough work around here that would equal to doing three shifts back to back.

"I can leave now. Why? what were you think about doing?" I ask him, trailing my hands down his arms to grab his hand, dragging him out for the store. I was so edger to leave, that was all I really wanted to do right now.

He didn't say anything to me to answer my question until we were sitting in his car which was parked in front of the shop.

"I was just coming here to take you out for dinner but after standing at the door and hearing what the women said to you I think I have a better idea." He had a smirk on his lips as he said it.

"Wait, you were standing there the whole time? And you could hear her? She was speaking so quietly I just assumed no one could hear what she said." I said to him in a bit of shock. The fact that made co workers said shit all when she said something so disrespectful made me hate them more then I already did. Who knew that would even be possible for me.

"It wasn't loud and clear but I could make it out. I'm not letting anyone insult you like that. No one gets to hurt you." He said forcefully as he started to driving.

I can't lie hearing him get overprotective of me like this was a major turn on. "So what are you going to do about it?" I ask him as I ran my hand along his inner high.

He grabbed my hand and pulled it away well giving me a look that told me not now. "I got a few ideas." He told me with a smirk. I think I can guess where he's going with this.
