HARRY
She's pregnant. There is a life inside of Olivia and it is mine. I'm going to be a dad.
It's early and it's going to be difficult and I know that, but I can't wait. Seeing the worry fall off of Liv's face when she saw I was happy could get me through anything.
Thanksgiving was just us in my apartment and a near-death fire accident. Lots of kissing, too. A lot of 'I love you's' and a lot of smiles. A lot of happiness.
I love her. I really do. I love how her smile lights up when she catches on to a joke and I love how she laughs when she's nervous. She still talks in her sleep and sometimes I talk back to her and she doesn't know it, but she tells me she loves me in her sleep.
Friday we went to some frat party and Liv was off and she didn't want to tell people why she wasn't drinking. So we didn't stay; we both got too bored. We went back to my apartment and turned off all the lights - except the Christmas lights - and watched movies with tea and hot cocoa. Liv fell asleep on my stomach during the middle of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and she's too precious to move so I stayed out there, too. I couldn't sleep and all I could think about was raising a baby with my baby.
If it was a boy I'd name him Daniel. I'd teach him all my ways and make sure he gets the good girls. If we have a girl, I know Livi loves the name Marinna Paige. Marinna Paige Styles. I love it. I'd show her how to avoid the wankers and Olivia will make sure she gets the hugs she needs.
I dozed off and I remember falling asleep to the feeling of Liv's arm around my body.
Saturday morning Olivia was lying face up on my lap, looking at me. Her v-neck was slipping down and her chest was poking out. Her hair was sprawled out around me and her glasses were on. She looked innocent.
"Good morning, baby." I said, stretching.
"You're cute when you sleep."
"So are you."
She blushed, sitting up and leaning against me. "I have work to do."
"Then do it." She smiled.
"I mean, real work. For my kids. I have to update their profiles. Call a few people. And I need to get their Christmas gifts."
"For how many people?"
"Six. I just go to the dollar section at Target. They're 13-15 so anything works."
"Damn!" I said. "You buy them all something?"
"I love them." She giggled.
"Well, I love you." I told her as she leaned in and kissed me slowly.
"And I love you." She leaned her head on my chest. "But I have to go."
I pouted my lip at her. "Quit your job."
"With a baby on the way? I don't think that will go over well." She laughed, standing up. Her tight shorts were fitting just right.
"I like your shorts." I smirked and she rolled her eyes at me.
"I'm sure you do." She started to pick her things up and I should have helped her but I liked watching instead. She threw on a pair of my sweats she found and her jacket.
"You steal all my clothes."
"I like your clothes." She smiled. "See you later, babe. Love you." A kiss on her lips and she was gone.
