HARRY
I got the job at the bookstore! And I was so happy I thought I deserved a small treat. I drove to the bar and ran into Josh, who was alone thankfully and not with god forsaking Zayn. I ordered a beer and the waitress must have spiked it or something because now I'm on my fourth one and I'm pretty well hammered.
"So she's knocked up?" Josh asked, sipping his beer.
"Very." I slurred. "I'm going to have a baby girl." I felt the stupid smile on my face, stretched from ear to ear but I was happy as hell.
"How is she? Why isn't she here?"
"Oh, she's great! I just got a job! So I came here to celebrate. When I go home I'll probably get celebration sex too." I blurted out, Josh laughing and the ugly bartender who was coming on to me trying to look seductive but she looked like a dying fish.
"You should get home to her. I'll drive you." Josh took my drink from me so I would stop, but I didn't want to.
"I can drive."
"No, you can't. Either I'm taking you or you're calling Olivia."
"My phone is dead."
"Alright, then come on Harry." He stood up and started putting his coat on and I followed, nearly falling but catching my balance. Good thing I'm not driving.
"Thank you!" I yelled to the bartender and she smiled at me. I turned to Josh as we got in his car. "She was ugly."
"Compared to Olivia? Yes, she was."
"Hey, Livi is mine." Josh laughed and shrugged.
"Which building is yours?" He asked and I pointed to the second one.
Josh walked me to my apartment and when Livi opened the door she didn't look as happy as I thought she would to see me.
OLIVIA
"Baby!" Harry yelled, his voice slurred as he wrapped his arms around me sloppily and kissed my head, but I pushed him off of me. I could literally smell the Scotch on him.
"Harry, go sit down," I said gently, pointing to the couch and he frowned.
"Come with me." He pouted, taking my hand. I glared at him and he just rolled his eyes, sitting down.
Looking to Josh, I was absolutely embarrassed. "What the hell?"
"He showed up after he got some job and ordered a beer, and after the second one he was doing Scotch and coke and didn't even realize it." He explained, his eyes moving to my stomach. "Congrats, by the way."
"Thank you," I sighed. "Thanks for driving him."
"We miss you." Josh said suddenly.
"Then do something about it. You all know where I live." I looked to Harry, who was laying on the couch and just staring at me, his green eyes prominent in the lighting.
"You're right. I'll see you around." Josh said and I smiled, closing the door.
And then there's drunk Harry, who's hella adorable but I need to be stern. "Come here, baby," He said, his voice scratchy. I ignored him and went to the kitchen and got him some water, and then sat next to him.
"What the hell were you thinking?" I said, trying hard not to laugh at how much trouble he was having to just drink the water.
"I got the job!" He exclaimed, spilling the water everywhere and I laughed.
