I had spent a few days in the hospital so they could run tests and stuff. It was a horrible few days but today I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" I croaked "hey, how are you doing?"
"Brennan?" I asked confused "well don't you think I would get a little suspicious after almost a week not being at school, so I just called your mom" "thank for coming " " no problem"
He walked over to me and sat on the side of the hospital bed.
"Nice gown" he commented
" thanks its designer" I mumbled sarcastically.he laughed and I couldn't help but crack a smile.
" they said the tumors shrinking" I told him
" really!" I nodded as it hurt to speak. He brushed back a stray hair a and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and imagined how Caleb did that to me every night. He saw a tear drop but I was still smiling. He wiped it from my cheek. And then the doctors came in and he pounced behind the bed. I was so confused but I went along with it.
" hey ms Leblanc just checking in"the doctor peeped out.
" well I'm fine" I said
" alrighty" she left and right as the door closed Brennan shot up.
" forgot to say Annie I kinda sorta"he said with a pause.
"Kinda sorta what?!?"
" kinda sorta snuck in here knowing they only alow family" he said with the cheesiest smile. I chuckled and whispered.
" you little rebel"
