The hyper and the tired

I start on beam. I see Brennan anxiously waiting on the side lines. I salute and mount onto the beam with a press handstand and do my routine. I stick everything. Practice makes progress. That's what my mom had always told me as a kid. 9.450. My jaw dropped. next  is bar I do the same with a score of 9.365 I smiled at Brennan he smiled back and shouted "go Annie!!" And I blushed and turned around. I saw a face I hadn't seen in long time. Liv. My stomach dropped, I had apologized but I was always still hurt from that, and she knows it. I walk over to her, something I would never find myself actually doing but it felt As if I was programmed to do so.
" uh, liv" she zipped around I shocked expression grew on her face until she engulfed me in a hug. I've waited seemingly forever for.
"I'm so sorry I never got the chance to apologize."she trails off
"No no it's ok I'm-I'm ok now I got over it"
"Well how has it been.with-without Caleb?" I didn't see that coming but I understand we never had time to talk about it with each other
"Well I mean it's not outstanding actually it's really, really ... Horrible."
"I understand I'm sorry again about all those lies told I wasn't thinking it just came out I don't know why or where it came from and I feel horrible about it."
"don't stress" I said punching her arm."we're cool"
"cool" she replied
She had to go on now I said bye I hugged and wished her good luck and best wishes and I promised I would find her after to talk.i had vault now. My worst of all. I did I simple yur chanko and I was done with a surprising score of 9.145.i glanced back at Brennan and he was holding up Hayley so she could see. it melted my heart as I waved to her. Her meet started when I started floor. We warmed up I was competing my level 9 routine for the first time, but I loved it, the music, the choreography, the vibes, everything.
I stared and saluted. The music had begun and I was thrilled I went through it all doing quite well with a finishing score of 9.745 I was always good at floor. It was time for scoring. I was on top for floor, beam, bars and 4th for vault. After scoring I was on the podium and Brennan came up behind me and got me on his shoulder and brought me to watch Hayley.
"A bit hyper are you Bren."
"I don't know what your talking about!" He said laughing
  "Meanwhile I'm going to sit down in to tired to function"
"Il follow" and he does
I fall "asleep" on the chair. I feel Brennan put my head onto his shoulder. I didn't move it why would I. Then I actually woke up to liv tapping me on the shoulder.
"Hey Annie"
"Oh liv don't mind me I'm just really tired" I said yawning.
"Um can we talk in private"
" yeah no worries"I walk near the bathroom.
"So we're cool right?"she asked
" yeah, why?"
" well mabye we can be friends again and hang out sometime."
" that would be great, can I get your number again I think I lost it" we exchanged hugs and said our goodbyes. I was happy to get my friend back. I walked back to Brennan.
"So what was that about?" He asked
"Oh just reuniting with an old friend apologizing about stuff ya know?"
" yeah" I layed back onto his shoulder. I could feel him smile. My mom was watching Hayley so I was in the clear.i could relax. I fell asleep again.
