The chaos and the calm

Awkward...

It was pretty awkward in me Jill's car but it got even more awkward when she started talking.
"So Brennan hasn't stopped talking about you and your gymnastics!"she exclaimed.
"Thank you" I said awkwardly. Then looked at Brennan while his cheeks were at red as a tomato.i couldn't help but giggle. He soon laughed along with me. We soon arrived at his house and we sat on the couch while ms Jill went to bed bc it was pretty late.
"So we're you sister Katie?" I ask.
" at a baseball game with my dad..." he responded. That hit me right in the heart and I looked down to the ground.
"You ,ok?"he asked
"I could be better"" I've just been missing Caleb a ton recently and he was obsessed with baseball..." he hugged me close to him and I felt comfortable so I cried, I didn't care if he thought I was a crybaby. I couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Annie, he's hitting home runs in heaven. If you need a shoulder to cry on I'll always be here no matter what."he said which helped a ton.
"Thank you Brennan, it means a lot" I waited a few seconds and played with his hair while he giggled, he stared straight into my eyes. And I couldn't help myself, i pulled him close and kissed him straight on the lips for a good 7 seconds. I did this because I knew Caleb would definitely approve of him he was everything you'd ever want in a guy.i pulled away and he grabbed my hand and smiled.
" so your a surprisingly good kisser for someone who's never kissed anyone before"
"What makes you say that?" I ask playfully.then right at that moment out of the corner of my eye I see ms Jill in the hallway.theres no doubt she saw everything.
"My moms in the hallway isn't she"he asked. And I just nodded nervously.
" hey... mom, how ya doin?" He asked her nervously.
"You know I just saw all of that correct?"
" umm your going to ground me right?"he asked disappointed.
"No"
"Huh?"
"Annie seems like a very nice young lady and I obviously don't want you two having a make out session but... I'll let this slide." I could see Brennan relieved.
"So goodnight?" He asked waiting for her to go back to her room.
"You two behave okay?"
  "Got it" we both said at the same time. Ms. jill went back to her room and we both laughed our asses off.

Hey guys sorry for not being on here for that long I kinda forgot about the story and I've been super busy with school but I'll be updating this story every 2-3 days or I'll just spam chapters sometime so yeah😂😂😂
