Exhaustion must've caught on with Andrew as he is now fast asleep on the bed, while I just snuck out because no matter how I tried I just can't fall asleep.
Maybe because of all my excitement from this place or how he almost made my heart explode with all his sweetness.
I grabbed my guitar and headed out to the patio then started relieving everything that happened today, the drive, the view, our dance and his lips.
Closing my eyes in these reveries my hand began strumming a random tune, humming inaudibly with it but soon forming words to go along with the tune.
"He said the way my blue eyes shined
Put these Arizona stars to shame tonight
I said "That's a lie""I began singing then strum and hum a bit until I got startled by a sudden voice.
"Georgia." The husky voice suddenly rings out.
I snap my head to the left and see a boy, his back facing me while leaning on the fence of his villa.
Already aware who this is, I blink starkly and then pinch my arm to make sure I'm not dreaming of things again.
He turns his head and his face slowly showing through the glint of the moon, his eyes reach mine and for a second he looks a little surprised but then his face went back to being blank almost as quickly.
My mouth drops open and my mind tells me to say something back but my facial muscles seem to not cooperate.
Probably recognizing my state of shock he brushed his fingers through his hair to push the stray strands back.
"Georgia. Stars tend to shine brighter there. Has a better ring to your verse as well." He goes on with a smirk.
My throat constricts and suddenly felt like I just ran a marathon in Sahara desert.
"G-georgia?" I croaked in reply.
Queue mental face palm.
He lets out a laugh and his face looks amused, he turns his body to face me and crosses his arms to his chest then raises his eyebrows.
"Go on, let's hear it" he says nodding towards my guitar.
I raise my shaky finger and point it to myself confirming if he wants me to play and sing again with the hopes he understands what I was trying to say.
He shakes his head but his lips pull to a sideways smile showing his deep and I mean deep dimples then nods again.
My heart feels like it's about to beat out of my chest from nervousness, anxiety and again – hormonal induced star struck.
But somehow my hands began strumming; I clear my throat and began singing."He said the way my blue eyes shined
Put those Georgia stars to shame that night
I said that's a lie."I finished and peeked up to him; his face looks like he's in deep thought then in a second changed to a satisfied look and gave me another nod.
"You're welcome" He says all of a sudden and gesturing me a thumbs up as he heads back to his room.
"Wa-wait!" I call out.
He turns his head and look at me almost looking annoyed but says nothing.
"I'm a huge fan" I began to which he half rolls his eyes probably wanting me to just get on with it.
"A-and I was hoping to give you a sample track of mine and maybe you could listen to it?" I blurt out quickly.
He places a finger to his chin right below his lip, his face turn playful as I watch him and wait for a response with eyes wide and open mouth much like a puppy.
