LII - Friends and Barbecue

Abigail and I are in Karlie's room getting ready to hit the pool while the boys are getting ready to barbecue.

"The sun is lit it's perfect" Karlie gushes as she yanks the curtain open letting the sun rays enter the room then claps her hands together.

"Alright now bathing suits" She says grinning.

Abigail pulls out a swim shorts and a long sleeved rash guard while I shake my head left to right. Karlie frowns at Abigail's clothing choice but raises her eyebrow at me.

"I thought it'll be snowing here or something" I said defensively but immediately cringes.

Karlie huffs out and darts over to the big closet.

"Lucky for you two-" She grunts as she pulls out a huge Louis Vuitton luggage that could easily fit me if I curled my body. I ran to help her pull it out using our backs to pull it.

"Aw" We both cry out when we landed on our butts when the luggage slides out. She quickly unzips it and inside there looked like hundreds of pieces of different swim wear.

"I came ready" Karlie finishes.

"Ready? To give every single girl in Whistler a bathing suit?" Abigail cuts in as she kneels down before us and grabs a bikini hoisting it up the air.

Karlie smirks "Lesson number one never under pack during a vacation trip" she says lifting her finger to Gail and I and we stare at it like preschoolers.

After Karlie rummaged her luggage she pushed us both to the bathroom and had us changed, we step out and see Karlie has on a pairing bright red bikini. Her face lightens up as she sees us

"I know you two had it in you" She said excitedly then pulls us out the room.

Abigail and Karlie waltz right out to the pool area but my feet suddenly felt like they weighed a thousand tons. Scoot, Andrew and Ryder all seem to be preparing the steaks they're about to grill while Ethan is with his guitar and Nick singing out of tune, they are joined by Karlie and Abigail as they got in.

I take in a deep breath and tentatively stepped outside, the sliding door thudded making me squint then the I see the guy's heads turn towards me.

They're all looking at me like I grew a second head, Ryder visibly gulps his eyes make me feel like they're prickling through my skin then he frowns and looks over to Scoot and Andrew and quickly moved his feet towards me.

Andrew snaps out of his gaze and so did Scoot like they were both deers  caught in the headlights.

"You just gave three grown men a quick heart attack" Ryder says smirking and puts his hands on my waist.

I look down and bit my lower lip "Karlie-" I began but he cuts in and whispers "You're beautiful" just as he laces his arm to my shoulder.

Then he walks us to one of the pool loungers and grab his polo.

"Put this on until you feel comfortable" He says then kisses the side of my head then walks me towards where Abigail and the others are.

He flashes me a smile just before he joins Scoot and Andrew again patting their backs as he steps in between them "Eyes on the steak boys" he half yells smirking.

Andrew yanks his shoulder to remove Ryder's hand on it and Scoot merely shakes his head smirking.

"You're not joining them grill?" I asked addressing Ethan and Nick.

Ethan looks over to the three then pulls his lip sideways down "Nah, I think there's one too many alpha in that pack"

Abigail snorts and Karlie and I laugh lightly. Then I look at Nick, he bobs his head backwards and points his finger to his chest "ME? Oh honey I didn't scrub for two hours last night to smell like burnt meat"
