"There's food and drinks in the pantry- movies are right here and um, yeah the room has a telly too so-" I said for probably the third time.

"Calm down Ryder I'm alright- I'm fine with my book here and if I grow sleepy or hungry you already told me where to go. Go on and do your arrangements son" She replies laughingly.

I nodded too quickly and turn my head left and right checking if everything is perfect to make sure the flight goes as comfortable for her as possible.

She shakes her head silently laughing as she opens her book.

"Okay- sorry I'm just-" I trailed.

"You're fine. Everything is perfect" she says softly, her eyes peered up to me.

"Alright I'll just make a few calls" I said to which she responds with a nod.

Then I headed to a single sofa beside a window and began making my calls. One after the other making sure every detail is made clear to everyone so nothing goes wrong for the proposal.

I still can't believe that after tonight, Silver and I could be engaged- engaged to marry. The gravity of it fills my chest it feels like it could burst any minute.

It went on for hours calling every friend, every organizer and Hazel well as for her- I probably called her six times by now. I'm thankful she's understanding of my obsessive freaking out episode.

Without noticing it, the skies were pitch black and glancing at the clock it was already one in the morning so I huff out a breath and reached for the little box in front of me.

I opened it and a smile creeps up my face inevitably.

"Wish us luck" I whispered.

I'm talking to a piece of jewelry, this is where my nerves took me.

Shaking my head I closed it back and slid it in my pocket, it feels like it weighs a ton and is burning holes from my jeans as I walk over to the couch and settled myself in to catch some sleep.

Morning came and I woke up later than I planned to, I sprung up from the couch making Crystal's head snap to my direction as my abrupt waking up startled her.

"I'm sorry- I overslept." I said still with a throaty morning voice.

"It's fine don't worry. I think we're just about to land. Sit, let's have coffee" she replies softly with a warm smile.

We went on to have coffee together as we wait to arrive in New York, I explained to her all my plans and how we're going to go about it.

"Don't worry about Karlie- she's very excited to meet you" I said as I finished explaining to her that I'm gonna have to leave her with Karlie as I go do all the other preparations for tonight.

"I trusted you with my only daughter so no worries, I trust you with this too." She says laughingly.

After a few more minutes we landed in New York- again in the most incognito way I think we ever pulled, not sparing any possible slip ups to avoid ruining the entire surprise.

I walked Crystal to the car that'll take her to Karlie's, we shared a hug and she waved goodbye as they left.

Then I headed straight to mine and as soon as I climbed in the driver wastes no second to bring me to my destination.
