She looked up, avoiding my eyes. I went completely still, my body numb.
Are y-you... Are you f****** kidding me?!
"I'm Cam from Royalty." She whispered.
I tried to take a deep breath, but the stupid air got stuck in my throat. I choked, hacking it out.
She panicked, frantically tapping my back. "Dude! Did you swallow a bug or something?"
I held a finger up, still heaving oxygen.
She stayed quiet, still patting my back.
I sat up. "YOU?! This whole time you were actually CAM?! As in Cam from-"
She pounced on me, slapping her hand over my mouth. Her face was inches away, she smelled like a mixture of mango and sea salt. It was addicting.
"And you said my reaction was worse." She gritted through her teeth.
S***. I'm such a hypocrite.
I slowly lowered her hand. "Mianhe. That s*** just caught me off guard."
She backed up, putting her mask and shades back on. "I'm used to it. Myung Sol did the same thing."
I was still shocked. "Wow. I just- I can't believe this. An international celebrity just cried on me." I clutched my sweater. "I'm never washing this. Ever."
She cringed. "Ewww. Dude, my snot is on there too. Go wash it!"
I protected my sweater from her. "You'll have to kill me first."
She smirked, dark and evil. "That can be arranged."
My eyes bulged. "You're k-kidding r-right?"
She kept her eyes on me. "Maybe."
I started to get nervous, not sure if she was serious. I mean come on now, she had the money to put me away without a trace. Of course I was scared of her!
Out of nowhere, she started laughing.
Oh, she's nuts alright.
"You- you should see your face." She managed between breaths. "You were like-" She mimicked my ugly scared face, nailing it completely.
I scowled. "Jerk. How was I supposed to know if you were serious?"
She kept laughing. "Not my fault. You're way too serious." She mimicked. Again.
"Ha. Ha. So funny." I crossed my arms, looking away.
"Aaawwwwww. Is little Han Sol offended? Did I hurt your witto feewings?" I heard her pout.
I whirled around. "If you don't stop mocking me I swear I'll-"
"You'll what?" She leaned in close, cutting me off. Her eyes slit as if daring me to do something.
I couldn't help myself, I found my eyes going down to her lips. Suddenly, I was wondering what it felt like to kiss her.
Kiss her? Dude! You just met the girl in person a few hours ago! Snap out of it!
I shook my head. "N-nothing. Nothing at all."
She leaned back, satisfied. "I thought so."
I grinned. "You're impossible."
"Only to you." She winked.
I had to laugh at that. This girl made it so easy to like her. She was funny, smart, beautiful, and nothing like the idol girls here. Everyone had a weakness, except she let it show without shame. She was blunt and I liked that.
