"Hurry up, Ty! Put the damn disguise on so we can go." I yelled.
"I don't want to! My face can't breathe under that damn mask!" She whined.
"Ugh. Do you want fans running after you instead?! Chasing you around everywhere you go trynna get an autograph or pic?" I reasoned.
She scrunched her nose. "Ewwww no. I wanna be able to fart in peace, thank you very much."
"Then put the damn thing on! I can breathe just fine." I left her to find Cam.
Ty wanted to go out and site see today. So we decided to drive to the city and shop around. And eat of course.
But Ty was being so damn stubborn with the disguise. Yeah, sure. Let two internationally famous Instagram users go out in public shopping around. Cuz that's totally not gonna attract a large a** crowd.
Oh, and let's not forget to mention the internationally known singer who will be joining us. You know. The one that no one knows is related to us.
"I don't want to attract people and fake friends cuz my sister is famous." Was Tys reason for hiding that fact from the world.
Although a lot of people often recognized the resemblance between the two, they both agreed to deny they were related. It was better off that way I guess.
"Cam? You ready?" I asked, lightly knocking on her door.
It flew open. Cam stood there in black pull on Vans, dark blue jeans, and a white tee. A flannel shirt hung low on her hips. Her hair moussed down with a snap back to keep it that way.
She slipped on her mask and shades. "Let's go."
...
"Whoah! That's so cool!" Ty squealed at the live market place.
It was jam packed. Shops were flowing with people selling, buying, pushing strollers. Balloons everywhere, cotton candy glowed, and the fresh aroma of meat wafted around.
We walked along, breathing it all in. "I could get used to this." I sighed.
"How'd you find out about this place anyways?" Ty asked Cam.
"Oh, yeah. I've been meaning to ask that too." I looked at her.
Her steps faltered. "Uhhh... When your flight got delayed I had nothing to do. I saw the Ferris wheel and just drove over here." She scratched the back of her head.
I slit my eyes. Why is she getting nervous all of a sudden?
"Oh, look! A converse store!" She pointed.
I couldn't help it, my head immediately turned. "Where?!"
"Over there. Go check it out while I get us some food okay? Have fun!" She walked away, leaving Ty and I alone.
I shrugged. "C'mon! Oh Jesus if they have red I'm sooooooo getting that s***!"
We linked hands and made our way inside. The smell of new shoes hit me hard. I shivered, loving it.
"Imma go check those ones out." Ty left to the back of the store.
But I didn't reply. My eyes found the exact shoes I wanted. I walked over slowly, my gaze never leaving.
Red high converse with white laces. Water and tear resistant. Sold out in most stores almost as soon as they came out. They were beautiful. I loved em almost as much as I loved food.
"Gotcha." My hand reached for them, but someone else reached for em at the same time.
I looked up at the person who dared to touch my shoes. The first thing I noticed was his height. He was tall as f***. Like, I was 5'8 and he still stood taller than I was. My eyes traveled up to his mask and shades. Blonde hair peaked from under his hat.
"Sorry, but I saw these first." He said picking them up.
I was furious. Who the hell did he think he was? "Excuse me? Boy do not test me. I ain't got time for all dis childish s***. Hand those back and we won't have a problem."
He snickered. "Ooohhhh fiesty aren't you?" He lifted the shoes up high. "If you can reach em, you can have it. If not, I'm keeping em." I could literally feel him smirking.
B****.
I crossed my arms. "Fine. But you can't say I didn't warn you."
"What-" Before he could even finish, my fist landed in his stomach. He doubled over, clearly surprised.
I jumped up, snatching the shoes. "Thanks!"
And without another thought, I ran.
"Yahh!" He chased after me.
I squealed, zig zagging around the shoe stands.
"Give those back to me! They're sold out in every other store!" He pleaded from across the mountain of shoes.
"Nope. I won fair and square so piss off." I felt victorious. I'd die for these shoes, and no one, not even this f***tard was gonna take em away from me.
He growled. "I will have those shoes."
I flinched at his serious tone.
Wow, he's just as crazy.
He ran to the left, I went the opposite way.
Oh! Bring it on foo!
