The stadium was a full house, sold out in 3 minutes so there weren't any empty seats. And as always, it was freaking awesome!
We were backstage getting ready when I called the meeting, asking staff members to help out too.
Everyone gathered around me curiously.
"Okay, so everyone knows what they're supposed to do right?" I wanted this to be as perfect as possible.
"Ugh, yes Tae I'm pretty sure we get it now for the thousandth time!" Nam Joon hyung sounded annoyed. Whoopsie.
"Okie dokie Nam Joonie! Let's get this show on the road!" I was so excited about the plan. It was definitely gonna work out.
"Okay boys, you're up in five. Time to head out." We followed the stage director out the room and up a flight of stairs.
The closer we got to the stage, the louder the cheers got. Thank God for the ear phones we have, other wise I'd be deaf.
"Alright, everyone make sure you're wired up. If you guys need anything we'll be right behind you so don't panic or anything." We nodded at his instructions.
"Cool. Now go do your thing." He cheered moving aside.
I always enjoyed fan meets. It gave us a chance to know our fans better. If they had issues, we always made sure to address them in our songs to let them know we understand what they were going through. But more importantly, for them to know they weren't going through it alone.
As usual, someone would give the introduction, we'd run out and greet the hundreds of thousands of faces out there, sign their albums and give them hi-touches with words of advice.
Before I knew it, our time slot came to an end, sending a million 'Awws' in the air.
But as soon as Royalty was mentioned, the noise shot right back up.
Oh, I'll give you guys a reason to cheer soon. I thought following everyone off.
We waved running off stage. The stage team bolted past us, clearing off our gifts and toys from the fans. Replacing the chairs and tables so it'll suit 3.
We were on our way to the dressing room when we passed them. They looked stunning! Especially Val with her hair swinging low on her back, a huge smile plastered on her face.
A smile that faded as soon as she laid eyes on me. Awwww man.
"Hey ladies. You'll do great out there. They love you guys." NamJoon hyung beamed.
They smiled back at him. Why can't I get that same smile?!
"And now we proudly give you, ROYALTY!" The announcer screamed.
The girls turned to leave when Chimmy called out to Cam.
She turned around, a cute shocked expression on her brown face.
I held my breath, waiting for her reaction.
"Break a leg out there," Chimmy smiled.
She blinked for a moment before holding a thumbs up.
"Whoooo! Yeah Chimmy that's the spirit!" We hooted when she was outta sight.
He bit his lip, a gummy smile.
"I wanna look like Chimmy after this attempt you hear me?!" I screamed.
They laughed.
We ran out to change into our outfits for the special plan. While my make up was being reapplied I sent a silent prayer up for things to be in our favor. Especially for me and Val. I've waited years to find someone to be with, and I saw that in her.
